Bridgerton stars share their season 4 hopes for Will and Alice Mondrich

As a seasoned gamer of the grand ballroom drama, having navigated through the intricate world of Regency England with shows like Downton Abbey and Gossip Girl under my belt, I must say that Bridgerton has truly stolen my heart. The third season, which saw the rise of the enchanting duo Will and Alice Mondrich, was a captivating tale of love, power, and societal expectations.

Bridgerton stars Martins Imhangbe and Emma Naomi have shared their hopes for season four.

In the popular Netflix series, these two performers portray the roles of Will and Alice Mondrich, a married duo who ascend to high society in season three following the inheritance of Alice’s aunt’s estate.

The Mondriches will reappear in the forthcoming fourth season of the show; however, as Naomi notes, they are not part of Julia Quinn’s novel series, making it challenging to predict where their storyline might develop.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but embrace the thrill of not knowing where my favorite story is headed. Since we aren’t characters in the books, we don’t have any roadmap for our arc, so we’re left to navigate whatever twists and turns come our way. And that, I must say, is quite exhilarating – not knowing what each new chapter will bring!

Nevertheless, Imhangbe and Naomi have their individual aspirations for season four. In an interview, Imhangbe expressed his hope that “they manage to keep the initial spark between them and not let society, wealth, or fame dilute their bond.

“Or move them too far off their centre,” Naomi added.

In contrast to the third season, which delved into the romantic journey of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton, the fourth installment will primarily explore the burgeoning relationship between Benedict Bridgerton and Sophie Beckett.

It was confirmed last month that Halo star Yerin Ha has been cast as Sophie.

For the upcoming fourth season of Bridgerton, the story shifts towards the bohemian second son, Benedict. While his elder and younger brothers are blissfully married, Benedict resists settling down. However, everything changes when he encounters a mesmerizing Lady at his mother’s masquerade ball, making him reconsider his stance on love and marriage.

Bridgerton seasons 1-3 are streaming on Netflix, along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
