As a dedicated gamer and longtime fan of the NCIS franchise, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that Julian Ovenden and Maximilian Osinski have joined the cast of the upcoming spin-off series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The prospect of seeing Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) back in action, on the run across Europe with their young daughter, is already an enticing premise, but adding these talented actors to the mix only makes it more intriguing.
The actors Julian Ovenden from “Bridgerton” and Maximilian Osinski known for his role in “Ted Lasso” have been added to the cast of “NCIS: Tony & Ziva”.
In an exciting new development, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) and Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) will make a comeback in the forthcoming spin-off series. As their security firm is under attack, they are left with no choice but to flee across Europe, protecting their young daughter along the way.
Confirmed reports now indicate that Ovenden, who previously portrayed Henry Granville on “Bridgerton,” has been added to the cast in the role of Jonah. Jonah is a former computer programmer, presently serving as the Secretary General of Interpol (according to People).
Meanwhile, Osinski is set to play a Russian ex-pat and computer hacker named Boris.

As a gamer, I’m excited to share that some new faces are joining the cast of the series! Isla Gie from “The Sandman,” Amita Suman from “Shadow and Bone,” Nassima Benchicou from “Emily in Paris,” Terence Maynard from “Coronation Street,” Lara Rossi from “I May Destroy You,” and James D’Arcy from “Agent Carter” are all confirmed to be part of the team. Can’t wait to see what they bring to the table!
In this production, Gie has been assigned the part of Tali, a 12-year-old girl for Tony and Ziva. Meanwhile, Suman will portray Claudette – a CTO (Chief Technical Officer) who is employed at Tony’s security business.
In this version, Benchicou takes on the role of Martine, who is a former French intelligence agent. Maynard portrays Dr. Lang, an accomplished therapist. Lastly, Rossi has been chosen to play Sophie, a proficient expert with a military background in the SAS.
Finally, D’Arcy will play Henry, who is described as a high-ranking official at Interpol.

The new cast reveal follows Weatherly sharing details about the upcoming 10-episode spin-off. He mentioned that the series’ more interconnected storyline will give it a cinematic feel.
He expressed his excitement about creating an extended narrative for NCIS, consisting of ten interconnected episodes that build upon each other, forming one lengthy story.
You’re correct, it’s as if we’re watching a lengthy film that lasts for around ten hours. They label it a “limited series,” yet each episode effectively resets and delves deeper into the character development.
Each week, we’ll unfold a continuing tale that will add richness to the characters and their connections. We’ll minimize the need for recaps and explanations.
NCIS airs on CBS in the US. Seasons 1-20 are streaming on Disney+ in the UK.
