51-year-old Green and the late Doherty, who lost her life to breast cancer in July, briefly dated several years following their time together on 90210.
On a lively episode of the Charmed podcast, House of Halliwell, recorded live at the ’90s Con in Florida, actor [Actor’s Name] made an unexpected appearance alongside cast members Holly Marie Combs, Rose McGowen, Brian Krause, Drew Fuller, and Dorian Gregory.
Earlier this year, Doherty openly disclosed on the House of Halliwell podcast that their brief romantic encounter was quite fleeting.
Green hasn’t talked about his recent romantic affair thus far, and he chose not to discuss it during the live broadcast on the weekend.
During the recent live podcast in Florida, Green playfully remarked, “I won’t be sharing any specifics with anyone.
Combs revealed she was unaware, ‘how close’ he was with Shannen until she told her recently.
According to Combs, she held back the information for some time before revealing it. He appreciated her honesty and considered it one of her admirable qualities.
Combs also praised Green for remaining, ‘best friends’ with Doherty after their brief fling.
Green humorously remarked, “I’m getting a good old-fashioned beating,” while Combs playfully noted that Shannen had commented on Green having a very attractive derriere.

As a lifestyle expert, I find myself reminiscing about that situation and it still feels uncomfortable to recollect. That’s why it never developed further, as the awkwardness made progress impossible. Indeed, it was incredibly awkward.
She remarked that there were no fireworks (meaning there was no special excitement), even though we were very near and have known each other since we were young children practically.
She summed up their brief relationship, ‘I love Brian, he’s one of my favorite humans. But there was no spark.’
Doherty, who played Brenda Walsh in the hit 1990s show, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
Two years on, the actress who played a role in Charmed disclosed that her cancer had recurred following a period of remission.
