Brendan Fraser reveals The Mummy co-star’s brutal film set injury

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share an intriguing behind-the-scenes tale from the making of “The Mummy.” Our beloved actor, Brendan Fraser, recently reminisced about an unpleasant incident involving his co-star, John Hannah, during filming of the first movie.

Actor who played Rick O’Connell attended a convention in Chicago recently alongside his co-stars from the 1999 hit film – namely, Hannah, Oded Fehr, and Patricia Velasquez.

During the performance, he shared an incident where one of the animals on set unexpectedly approached Hannah in a rather private part of her body.

“Remember the time John got bit in the nipple by a horse?” Fraser asked (via Entertainment Weekly).

Hannah expressed that overall, the production process was quite challenging for him, leaving him uncertain about his role. Consequently, he turned to smoking marijuana frequently.

Upon arrival, I found myself gazing at Brendan displaying courageous acts, while Patricia and Rachel Weisz were stunning and noble figures, each embodying their own heroism.

Oded, an extraordinary character. Arnold Vosloo plays a hero in a unique, anti-heroic manner; you can’t help but find yourself cheering him on. And then there’s Kevin J O’Connor, who manages to be both hilarious and unsettling while effortlessly taking on different roles. I meant that in a complimentary way!

In simpler terms, Hannah, the narrator of Race Across the World, humorously shared that aside from experiencing incidents such as being bitten by horses, stepped on by camels, and chasing dangerous creatures like scorpions and snakes in their vehicle, her main reason for being there was to enjoy the complimentary food, wine, and marijuana offered during their journey near the volcano.

During the making of The Mummy, it wasn’t just Hannah who experienced troubles, as an outbreak of diarrhea was prevalent on location.

He declared that everyone present shared the same experience. To put it bluntly, it was an astonishing, mysterious, and hard-to-believe quantity of waste. Honestly, I never imagined I could produce such a vast amount of waste.

Fraser, known for his role in The Mummy movies, experienced a close brush with death and sustained lasting injuries during filming. However, he’s expressed numerous times his willingness to reprise the role.

With a new version in the works, could he actually come back?
