Brendan Fevola left shocked after finding out what his teen daughter got up to during Schoolies: 'I don't know what I've done wrong as a parent'

As a devoted fan of Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola, I can’t help but empathize with his heartfelt feelings as a father. The man who once reveled in the wild nights of Schoolies, now wishes for his daughter Leni to experience it just as he did – “hammed” and “sending it.” It’s a classic case of “do as I say, not as I did,” which is a timeless tale that resonates with many parents.

17-year-old daughter of Brendan ‘Fev’ Fevola astonished him with her behavior during the Schoolies festival in Byron Bay.

43-year-old football legend Carlton Club, who now co-hosts the Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick Show, confessed that following a video call with his daughter Leni on Wednesday, he felt like he hadn’t measured up as a father.

Following his instructions for Leni to emulate him at Schoolies by drinking heavily and partying hard, the AFL player found out that his teenager daughter had instead opted for a more subdued celebration with friends.

‘They’re at the movies, they’re watching Wicked! I am so disappointed,’ the radio host exclaimed.

I found myself seated there, consumed ten beers, and uttered, “I’m unsure of the mistakes I’ve made as a parent; I feel like I’ve fallen short.

‘I did my schoolies while I was playing footy, and it didn’t end well,’ Fevola added.

In simpler terms, the ex-AFL player and talk show host is married to Alex and together they have four girls – Mia (aged 24), Leni (17 years old), Lulu (14), and a six-year-old daughter named Tobi.

Leni, who is continuing the path set by her parents and elder sister Mia, currently has a substantial 20,000 followers on Instagram and has just completed her Year 12 studies.

Often, she posts authentic slices of her friends’ lives and her lively, festive journey on social platforms. Lately, she posted about Muck Up day and the way she celebrated ‘Exam week’ by hitting the town with her stylish mom and elder sibling.

Leni plans to attend Swinburne University of Technology in 2025 and was even hired by the university to promote the Melbourne campus on social media.

Last week, Leni posted a series of images on their Instagram account, where they emphasized, ‘Pajamas should be at the top of your packing list,’ for schoolies.

She posted a picture on social media, showing the grand facade of the spacious Airbnb they’re temporarily residing in, as they enjoy a one-week getaway with friends, celebrating their school graduation in true Australian style.

The contemporary estate boasts a spacious outdoor pool and beachside setting, ideal for lively gatherings.

However, the second-oldest Fevola sister revealed that she had opted to spend her week relaxing with her friends, cruising around, immersing herself in books while sipping tea, and unwinding by watching Ariana Grande’s hit movie at the cinema.
