Choice Provisions, developers behind both Atari and BIT.TRIP, have revealed that a fresh take on the 1976 arcade hit “Breakout” titled “Beyond Breakout” is set to debut in March.
Breakout Beyond boasts a fresh sideways viewpoint and offers 72 levels for players to conquer. This exciting game features two-player cooperative play, numerous brick-breaking challenges, and the opportunity to create massive score combos. Additionally, there’s an endless mode to unlock, complete with an online global leaderboard.
With a fresh sideways angle and 72 levels for players to master, Breakout Beyond offers a thrilling experience, including two-player teamwork, multiple brick-breaking obstacles, and the chance to set gigantic score combos. Moreover, an endless mode can be unlocked, featuring a worldwide online leaderboard.
Preparing an extraordinary “neon-bathed” light extravaganza, and unique blocks offering potent enhancements such as explosive brick eliminations, shields, and a laser gun, Breakout Beyond is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Atari VCS on the 25th of March.
