As a cinephile, I’ve come to realize that the enchanting profile of ‘Josh’ was nothing more than a clever ruse orchestrated by the same nefarious crime ring that has been linked to the mysterious disappearances of Rishi and Dana. This sinister organization exploits dating apps as a means to entice affluent singles, kidnap them, and demand every last cent they possess. However, the genuine Josh is still in the picture, and it appears he did indeed play a role in Clint’s untimely demise.

In the end, it’s revealed that Kat’s police officer father wasn’t just secretly allied with crime boss Calligan (James Nesbitt), but he was also involved in a long-term extramarital relationship – not with another woman, but with Parker (Cyril Nri), a man whom he deeply loved. This relationship was being used by Calligan to exert control over Clint, forcing him to work for him. As a result, Clint had chosen to end things with Parker.

The evening Clint perished, Aqua (Mary Malone), a friend of Kat’s and roommate of Josh, observed Clint and Parker in an affectionate hug on the street. This encounter caused Clint to frantically contact Stagger for Aqua’s address and follow her home.
