Breaking Bad star’s twisty crime drama branded ‘perfect for binge-watching’ is going to Netflix

The crime series “Sneaky Pete,” originally produced by Bryan Cranston, who is well-known for his work in “Breaking Bad,” has found a new streaming platform in the UK. Excitingly, fans will be able to watch it on Netflix starting from the 10th of July. So, if you’re eager to catch up, make sure to save that date!

In this series, “Sneaky Pete,” Giovanni Ribisi – famously known for his roles in shows like “My Name Is Earl” and movies such as “Saving Private Ryan” – plays the lead character Marius Josipović. The plot revolves around a former convict who assumes the persona of his former cellmate to evade his own troublesome past.

David Shore, a renowned television writer and producer known for hit series like “House” and “The Good Doctor”, has also been recognized as a co-creator on certain projects.

Initially aired in 2015 on Amazon Prime Video, “Sneaky Pete” garnered mostly favorable responses from critics. Notably, its first season has a commendable 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics such as Collider and MTV found it an engaging and addictive caper, making it a highly recommended show for binge-watching.

The review in Screenrant describes “Sneaky Pete” as a clever crime drama that offers compelling performances and an enjoyable plotline. Meanwhile, The Guardian refers to it as “excitingly entertaining.

In addition to the main cast, the series features Marin Ireland from Homeland, Shane McRae known for Silo, Peter Gerety of Citadel, Libe Barer who appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, and Margo Martindale, recently seen in Poker Face.
