RJ Mitte of Breaking Bad fame is engaged to his longtime girlfriend Kennedy Suarez.
The actor, age 33, best known for playing Walter ‘Flynn’ White Jr. in the drama starring Bryan Cranston, proposed to Kennedy on Friday, which also happened to be her 30th birthday.
Mitte shared with People that she’s incredibly happy to have found her life partner, someone who inspires her to grow and improve, even in everyday moments.
He excitedly shared that Kennedy means the world to him and he’s thrilled to begin their life together, looking forward to all the experiences they’ll share.
Mitte, who lives with cerebral palsy, proposed to his partner at the 56th annual Dia del Sol benefit in Carlsbad, California. The event raised money for United Cerebral Palsy of San Diego, an organization Mitte represents as an ambassador.
After getting engaged, Suarez shared on Instagram that her 30th birthday felt like a dream come true. She expressed her happiness being with the man she loves and continuing their shared passion for helping others.

Cerebral palsy is a condition that impacts movement, balance, and posture. It’s caused by problems with brain development or brain damage.
Symptoms can include stiff muscles, trouble with movement, and difficulties with balance and coordination.
According to People, in his UCP ambassador role Mitte hosts various fundraisers.
His wife-to-be has also become deeply involved in the organization.
Just a day after getting engaged, the couple went to the Disability Rights Legal Center’s 50th anniversary gala in Los Angeles.
The couple, who reside in Brownsville, Texas, are passionate about helping others. The actor also leads The Mitte Foundation, a charity established by his family and based in Austin.
The Foundation rejuvenates and funds South Texas-based marginalized communities.
Because Suarez works remotely in HR, she can join Mitte at his public events and on location while he’s filming.
His latest movie Westhampton premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival.
He’s also starring in a new movie called Love Me Dead with Dove Cameron.

In 2019, Aaron Paul, five years after Breaking Bad ended, shared that he still felt a sense of longing for his time working on the show.
He told The Sydney Morning Herald that his experience on the popular AMC series would stay with him forever.
The actor also expressed his hope that we’ll see more disabled people becoming well-known celebrities in the years to come.
Mitte paid tribute to his future wife days ago, marking her birthday with a carousel of images.
He shared a heartfelt birthday message, calling his loved one his ‘everything.’ He expressed his amazement at all they’ve experienced together and how this person inspires him to grow and improve.
