Brawlhalla platforms may melt at the Winters Championship 2025: It’s so epic!
After the intense competition, the Brawlhalla esports players are now moving on to the inaugural major official tournament with their chosen characters.
Since the last major event, the BCX 2024 World Championship, there have been some updates in Brawlhalla. The most significant change is the introduction of a new weapon: Players are now wielding Chakrams in their platform fights. These alterations to the game’s meta should become evident when put to the test during live esports matches.
The calendar for Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten has been updated. Once again, Seasonal Championships are on the schedule, and the Winter season kicks things off. This event isn’t just entertaining to watch, but viewers also get free Brawlhalla loot as a bonus.

Last year’s competitive season showcased an influx of new talent shaking up the European Brawlhalla scene. Notably, bamya clinched the Trial of Freya title, whereas Godly didn’t make it to the top 8. Is this trend likely to persist in 2025?

South America
2024 saw me witnessing the dominion of the world’s finest Brawlhalla players, an achievement I hold in high regard. Yüz, a titan among them, successfully defended his World Champion title at BCX 2024. Kyna, another formidable player, triumphed at the Spring Royale. The international scene thrives on the backbone of rigorous regional competition, making the Brawlhalla Winter Championship 2025 in South America a highly anticipated event for fans like me.

North America
In North America, the Brawlhalla community boasts esports greats like Sandstorm and rising stars such as Marckiemoo, who clinched the Autumn Royale 2024 title. Competition in this region is consistently exhilarating. To regain dominance on the international stage, North American players could benefit from supporting one another to strengthen their skills.

The main platformer fighter
As a dedicated Brawlhalla gamer, I must admit I’ve been watching the horizon for new platformer fighters with a mix of excitement and apprehension. However, it seems that these newcomers have fallen short in the competition, leaving me feeling quite confident about my skills.
As a gamer, it’s disheartening to share that I’ve noticed MultiVersus didn’t quite hit its stride during its beta phase and has been shut down. It’s a bummer, especially since Season 5 was turning out to be an enjoyable experience for me. Unfortunately, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 seems to have followed in the footsteps of its predecessor, as the matchmaking isn’t exactly bustling with players right now. On a more disappointing note, it appears that Riot’s platform-fighter game has been canceled.
In the world of eSports, Brawlhalla continues to reign supreme as the premier platform fighter. While there’s no denying the appeal of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for casual fun, its competitive scene has been relatively quiet following the latest update.
The Brawlhalla Winter Championship features 2-on-2 tournaments running from February 28th through March 2nd. The upcoming major event for this game is the offline Winter Royale Open, scheduled for April 25th to 28th.
