Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten is a crafty selection: big events and fun tourneys
The main emphasis lies on significant Seasonal Tournaments and a lengthy sequence of Royal Invitational events.
Blue Mammoth Games unveiled their strategy for Brawlhalla Esports Season Ten, and the itinerary appears quite thrilling! Notable adjustments stir things up in the competitive sphere – details on these modifications can be found below.
Generally speaking, Brawlhalla esports is returning to its fundamental principles, yet it’s also trying out fresh concepts in terms of format.
Seasonal Championships are back!
One interesting highlight of Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten is the reappearance of traditional Seasonal Championships. While we had fun with the assortment of Trials in 2024, such as the Trial of Freya, this revamped format allows the community to focus on significant events and enjoy a more focused esports experience by concentrating on larger tournaments.
There are four Brawlhalla Seasonal Championships in 2025.
Event | 1v1 dates | 2v2 dates |
---|---|---|
Winter Championship | Feb. 21 – Feb. 23 | Feb. 28 – March 2 |
Spring Championship | May 9 – May 11 | May 16 – May 18 |
Summer Championship | July 18 – July 20 | July 25 – July 27 |
Autumn Championship | Sep. 12 – Sep. 14 | Sep. 19 – Sep. 14 |
All these tournaments happen for five regions.
- Southeast Asia and the Middle East — on Fridays
- Europe and South America — on Saturdays
- North America — on Sundays
More Royales, fewer participants, an open event
These Brawlhalla invitationals are so different in the Esports Year Ten.
- The competitive elite has four Royales. There were two in 2024, and the Brawlhalla Autumn Royale concluded that format.
- After a Seasonal, only the top two players per region get their Royale invites, which is half fewer than in 2024. Three Royales are only for six participants: from SA, EU, and NA.
- Winter Royale is an open event with 1v1 and 2v2 tournaments. This feels like an extra offline championship during Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten.
Event | Dates |
---|---|
Winter Royale | Apr. 25 – Apr. 28 |
Spring Royale | June 6 – June 8 |
Summer Royale | Aug. 15 – Aug. 17 |
Autumn Royale | Oct. 9 – Oct. 12 |
Two offline championships
As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that the esports segment of Brawlhalla Year Ten retains its familiar structure, similar to what we experienced in 2024. The competition calendar is stacked with two major offline events, providing an immersive gaming experience for participants and spectators alike.
- The Midseason Championship 2025 is part of the CEO event. Brawlhalla players join the party of the whole fighting games community (FGC) like it was during CEO 2024.
- The World Championship, BCX 2025, traditionally concludes the year.
Event | Dates |
---|---|
Midseason Championship 2025 | June 13 – June 15 |
BCX 2025 | Nov. TBD |
Extra fun during Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten
As a gamer diving into Brawlhalla Esports Year Ten, I’m excited about the main competitive events, but there’s more! The schedule also includes three unique championships that showcase the game’s less conventional side modes. I can’t wait to give them a try!
- Brawlball
- Triples
- Kung Foot
Community backing in less populated areas persists until 2025, but only extends to Southeast Asia (SEA) and Middle East (ME). It’s been a while since we’ve seen Australian competitions; unfortunately, they won’t be happening this year.
