I’m so excited about Ziggy, the newest Brawler in Brawl Stars! Supercell revealed him during the September 2025 Brawl Talk, and he’s a Controller Dealer, which means he’s all about area control. What’s really cool is he’s available through a brand new Brawler Event in the game. I’ve been checking out everything about him – his special attacks, gadgets, Star Powers, and the best gear to use. I’m putting together a guide to share what I’ve learned so everyone can master him and dominate in Brawl Stars!

New Brawler: Ziggy

Rarity: Mythic
Class: Controller
Health at level 11: 5600
Damage at level 11: 1760

Ziggy is a Mythic Brawler currently available through the Brawler Event, which lasts until September 28th. After the event, you’ll be able to unlock her with Credits on the Starr Road. You can even test her out in Mirror matches before you unlock her!

To get her, you’ll need to collect 14 Ziggy Boxes. You can earn one box for every two wins in the Brawler Event. During the event, you’ll receive 3 tickets each day to play different game modes. You can choose to play with your regular Brawlers or with a fully upgraded Ziggy.

He’s scheduled to arrive on Starr Road on November 6th, right before the new Brawl Pass season begins. This is a test run for how future Brawlers are released, so the timing is different than usual. The event itself will be largely the same, as the team is simply trying out different dates and schedules.

Ziggy’s Attack: Ta-Da!

I’m really excited about this character’s main attack! You basically call down a lightning strike wherever you want, and it does massive damage to everyone in that area after just a little bit of a wait. It’s awesome!

Ziggy’s Super: Ziggy’s Fantastical Storm

Ziggy’s Super, Fantastical Storm, creates a fast-moving, large-area electrical storm. This storm deals significant damage to any enemy Brawlers caught within it. If an enemy is inside the storm, it actually slows down, making it even easier to hit them.

Tips for using Ziggy’s Super

Control the battlefield with timing: His Super isn’t just for raw damage, as it’s also great for zoning out enemies. You can summon it where enemies are likely to move, forcing them to either dodge it or take heavy damage.
Try to trap key targets: You should focus on catching high-value Brawlers like Controllers or Damage Dealers inside the storm.

Gadgets

Electric Shuffle

Once activated, this Gadget will strike your closest enemy with lightning every second for 5 seconds, and it doesn’t use any ammo. It recharges after 13 seconds.

Now You See Me…

The Now You See Me… Gadget allows you to instantly move to where your next lightning strike will land. It has a 13-second cooldown before you can use it again.

Star Powers

Thunderstruck

When you use your Super with the Thunderstruck Star Power, any opponent hit will be 20% slower for one second.

The Great Ziggini

Okay, so as a huge fan, I’ve figured out that if you get The Great Ziggini Star Power, your next regular attack gets a 19% damage boost after you hit someone with lightning! It’s a really cool way to pack an extra punch.

Best Game Modes for Ziggy

Best Brawler Combination with Ziggy

Ziggy is effective on his own, but he becomes even stronger when teamed up with the right players. Brawlers like Stu and Belle work particularly well with him. Stu can quickly move enemies into range of Ziggy’s Super attack, and Belle can slow down incoming projectiles, helping Ziggy deal more damage with his Super.

Brawlers like Poco and Gray can help keep you on the offensive during battles. Byron is another good option because he can heal you from afar, allowing you to use your Super and attack safely. If you prefer a tank, Bull or Ollie are solid choices.

Best Gears for Ziggy in Brawl Stars

Damage Gear

If you play a Controller Brawler, your main job is to inflict heavy damage on opponents, and Damage Gear can assist with that. When your health falls below 50%, this gear will increase the damage you deal by 15%.

Shield Gear

If you like to play fast-paced and attack often, the Shield Gear can be really helpful. It gives you an extra 900 health as a temporary shield that fully replenishes after 10 seconds whenever you’re at full health.
