Brawl Stars Trunk: Best Build & Abilities Overview
Originating in the Magical Forest, Trunk is a robotic tree managed by an ingenious ant community, possessing remarkable intelligence.
They function as a Tank; this implies they’re a fighter specializing in heavy-duty roles, boasting exceptionally high Health Points (HP) that make them ideal for spearheading attacks. In addition, they demonstrate proficiency in close-range skirmishes.
What makes Trunk particularly robust against Assassins and Controllers is his unique set of qualities. He performs exceptionally well across various game modes, but truly shines in team-oriented modes such as Gem Grab or Brawl Ball. We’ll cover all the additional information you require about them in the following details.
Main Attack & Super
Trunk’s primary attack, known as Ant Attack, takes advantage of its swarm of ants. Following a brief pause, it spins around, inflicting harm on nearby adversaries and shedding ants concurrently. This main attack causes more damage to enemies situated on the periphery of the circle compared to those in the center.
As I, the vengeful gamer, wield Trunk’s ‘Driven by Revenge (and Ants)’ Super, I hurdle towards my foes, scattering ants in my wake. With a bounce that echoes off the walls, I maintain my momentum and keep the fight going.
So, you want to know what ants are up to? Being close to them increases Trunk’s durability and mobility speed.” Or more casually, “Hanging out with ants gives Trunk a boost in toughness and speed, if that’s something you’re interested in!

Trunk has two Gadgets and Star Powers in his closet. They have no Hypercharge at the moment.
Their Gadgets are explained below:

Trunk’s Star Powers are as follows:

New Insect Overlords | Ants also reduce the damage of enemies by 15% |
Their Gadgets cost 1,000 Coins, while Trunk’s Star Powers cost 2,000 Coins.
Best Build for Trunk in Brawl Stars
Since Trunk functions like a Tank, it makes sense for the optimal build to focus on boosting its Health and making it an even tougher opponent to defeat. Here’s how the build looks:
1. Prioritize upgrading your Health points first and foremost.
2. Invest in abilities that provide additional Health or shielding.
3. Use equipment that increases Health or reduces damage taken.
4. Don’t overlook the importance of defensive stats like Armor and Resistance.
5. Choose star cards that enhance your survivability, such as those that increase Health regeneration or reduce incoming damage.
- Gadget: Worker Ants
- Star Power: New Insect Overlords
- Gears: Health and Shield
As a devoted fan, I can tell you that when I engage the “Worker Ants Gadget,” Trunk temporarily dons a protective shield. This shield miraculously heals an equivalent amount from the initial source of harm. Given their towering HP levels, they’re often the focal point of enemy assaults. That’s why this Gadget was strategically selected to combat sudden spikes in damage.
The enhanced abilities of the New Insect Overlords Star Power work synergistically with Trunk’s defensive Tank role, as ants additionally decrease incoming enemy damage by 15%. This additional benefit comes alongside their provision of movement speed and damage increases.
In this scenario, the Health and Defense Equipment were selected to enhance Trunk’s existing abilities. The Health Equipment allows for a quicker restoration of HP by 50%, while the Shield Equipment offers an additional 900 HP as a temporary shield. If you desire increased damage output, consider replacing one of these items with the Damage Equipment instead.
