Brawl Stars is bidding farewell to Trophy Seasons and Trophy Box system
Once the game update is finished, we’re removing the Trophy Season and Trophy Box system. However, you’ll receive one last Trophy Box based on your current Season Trophies before the change. Plus, everyone will get an Ultra Trophy Box right after maintenance ends.
We’re updating our Trophy System after maintenance on February 24th. Here’s what’s changing: we’re removing the Trophy Season and the Trophy Box system, but everyone will receive their final Trophy Box before the update.

If you earned 3000 Season Trophies before the update, you’ll receive 2 Ultra Boxes as a reward. The old Prestige rankings on the leaderboard won’t be used anymore, but you can still find your past Prestige stats in the Legacy section of your Player Profile.
We’re happy to share that Ultra Trophy Boxes, along with other Trophy Box tiers, will still be available sometimes during special Community Events. However, please be aware that any Brawler you own with over 1000 Trophies will be reset to 1000 Trophies when the update goes live.
The update is bringing improved matchmaking with MMR system, easier ways to get Buffies, and more
This update to the Trophy System is designed to make the beginning of the game fairer and motivate players to improve. A change was definitely necessary, and I’m glad to see highly skilled players being recognized with a new Brawler Title. Even though I’m not a top player, it’s great that we’ll all have a way to show off our accomplishments.
I’m really excited about the upcoming improvements to matchmaking. They’re introducing a system based on MMR – similar to what Mobile Legends: Bang Bang uses – which should create fairer matches. Hopefully, we won’t have to constantly carry inexperienced players anymore.
Plus, we’re introducing a Resource Rush event that will give you extra rewards for winning matches. You’ll also have more ways to collect Buffies.
We’re adding several ways to get Buffies, including Mega Quests, one free Buffie from each new Claw Machine, and a special offer for a random Buffie costing 79 Gems. We’ll share more details during the February 21st Brawl Talk, so be sure to tune in!
