Brawl Stars Pierce Guide – All Attacks, Stats Per Level
Pierce’s primary attack, called Pool Sniper, is a long-range shot. Whenever he successfully hits an enemy, a shell appears nearby. Picking up this shell causes Pierce to automatically fire at the closest enemy. Importantly, Pierce can only reload either by using all his ammunition or by collecting these shells.
Additionally, the final shot in his combo does increased damage, but his secondary projectiles actually hit for less than his primary attack.
With Pierce’s Super, called Fish In A Barrel, he creates a designated area. Any opponents inside this area will be automatically targeted by a piercing attack. If an opponent is hit, a shell will fall near Pierce.
The stats below represent Pierce’s stats at launch, which are subject to change:
| POWER LEVEL | HEALTH | MAIN ATTACK | MAIN ATTACK (LAST SHELL) | Shell Damage | Super Damage |
| 1 | 3000 | 950 | 1500 | 600 | 1600 |

Brawl Stars Pierce Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?
Pierce has two gadgets at launch:
- Bottomless Mags – “Reload 1 ammo and drop a shell next to Pierce.”
- You Only Brawl Twice – “Pierce absorbs all shells and gain 1200 shield for each one, while also pushing back nearby enemies.”
Additionally, Pierce has two Star Powers which players can unlock:
- Mission: Swimpossible – “Pierce’s last ammo also slows enemies by 30%.”
- Slip n’ Slide – “When collecting a shell, Pierce gains a short burst (15%) of movement speed.”
Furthermore, Pierce can use the following gadgets in battle:
- Speed
- Vision
- Health
- Shield
- Damage
- Gadget Cooldown
At the time of writing, Supercell has not developed Buffies for Pierce yet.
Brawl Stars Pierce Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup
We recommend You Only Brawl Twice for Gadgets. While Bottomless Mags offer quick reloading, the shield and knockback from this Gadget are more helpful. At Level 11, Pierce doesn’t have a lot of health, so any health boost is valuable. Plus, the knockback can keep close-range fighters away, giving you space to maneuver.
Both Star Powers are useful, but we recommend Mission: Swimpossible. It slows enemies after Pierce’s final bullet, making it easier for him and his teammates to finish them off. Since that last bullet does a lot of damage – 3000 at level 11 – opponents will likely be vulnerable, so capitalize on that chance to defeat them.
When it comes to gadgets, we recommend a Shield Gear and a Gadget Recharge Gear. Pierce benefits from the added protection and faster recharge for his You Only Brawl Twice gadget. If you need a quick damage boost, a Damage Gear can also be a good choice.
Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Pierce In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)
Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout
Pierce performs well in most game modes because they generally suit characters who can fight effectively from a distance. There’s typically plenty of cover to protect him while maintaining a safe distance from opponents. Slow down approaching enemies with his Mission Swimpossible Star Power, and if they get too close for comfort, use the You Only Brawl Twice Gadget as a final defense.
Hot Zone
Pierce is a strong pick for Hot Zone because he can reload incredibly quickly. He excels at taking out enemies from a distance with his attacks and shells, and can also damage opponents pushing into the zone, keeping their health low. His Super ability adds another layer of power by tagging enemies within the zone, making them vulnerable to a powerful attack.
Duo Showdown
Pierce is a good choice for Showdown when teamed up with a strong partner. He excels at attacking from a distance, letting him hit both opponents and loot boxes safely. Because he doesn’t have much health, it’s best to pair him with a durable teammate who can soak up damage.
Heist
Pierce excels in Heist thanks to his rapid reloading. He can continuously damage the Safe, or use his final bullets to hinder opponents with Mission Swimpossible, making him a very strong pick for this mode.
Brawl Stars Pierce Guide – What Modes Should I NOT Use Pierce In?
Brawl Ball
Pierce isn’t very durable, which can be a weakness. However, he deals a lot of damage quickly, making up for it. His Star Power also helps protect your goal by deterring opponents. He’s okay in Brawl Ball, but other Brawlers are generally more effective.
That concludes our guide to Pierce in Brawl Stars. We hope you have fun unlocking and playing with him!
