To finish the challenge and get the skin and other rewards, you’ll need to win a total of nine matches – three in each of the three stages. It’s a little tough because you only start with four lives, but you can always use Gems to buy more if you need them. It would be great if the lives were unlimited, though!

How to complete the Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Event

The challenge is straightforward: you just need to complete three stages to get your rewards. Each stage requires three wins to move on, which can be tricky because you’re relying on teammates. Here’s a breakdown of each of the three stages, with advice on how to finish them and claim all the prizes.

Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 1: Knockout

Knockout mode challenges you to beat the other team in three rounds. A team wins when they win two rounds, but once you’re out in a round, you stay out for the rest of it – there are no second chances!

During this phase, focus on playing characters that can both deal damage and stay alive, like Tank or Marksmen Brawlers. Good choices include Piper, Belle, or Lola, as they can attack from a safe distance. Alternatively, Brawlers such as Hank or Ollie will help you survive longer. You’ll be playing on the Double Decker map.

Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 2: Gem Grab

Once you’ve completed the first stage, you’ll move on to Gem Grab. In this mode, your team needs to collect and hold onto 10 gems to win. If neither team reaches 10 gems by the time the match ends, the team with the most gems wins. You’ll be playing on the Gem Fort map.

If you’re aiming to capture the Gems, Max is a good choice, or you can focus on quick rotations. Strong, close-range fighters like Juju and Grom work well too, but only if you have a sturdy front line with Brawlers like Ash or Frank. I also recommend Controllers such as Squeak or Mr. P, because they can bother opponents from afar.

Mr. P Gym Rat Challenge Stage 3: Bounty

Finally, there’s Bounty mode. You earn stars by defeating other players, but you need to stay alive and prevent opponents from stealing your stars. The first team to reach 20 stars wins. This mode takes place on the Dry Season map.

Where you position yourself is really important now, as there are bushes all over the map. Good Brawler choices are Kaze, Kenji, or Max. They’re all very mobile, which lets you avoid enemy attacks and quickly go on the offensive.

I’ve mentioned this before, and I’ll say it again: I don’t really like when games limit lives instead of letting you try as many times as you need. This one only gives you 4 lives, which often means you’ll have to spend Gems you’ve worked hard to earn, because most people won’t beat every level without losing a life. I suggest working with other players to increase your chances of success.
