Brawl Stars Moe Guide: Attacks, Star Power, Gadgets, Gears and more

As a seasoned Brawler with years of combat under my belt, I can confidently say that Moe is one of the most intriguing and powerful characters in Brawl Stars. With his unique dual form abilities and high damage potential, he’s a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield!

Moe, the new character, joins the cast of Brawl Stars, debuting as a Mythic Brawler. Renowned for his distinct dual-form abilities and significant damage potential, Moe promises to inject fresh thrills into the game. Players can start using Moe from the 5th of September, 2024. Moe was unveiled during the Brawl Talk event that announced the Spongebob season.

Players have two options to obtain Moe:

The enigmatic figure known as the Sewer Sentinel dwells within the underbelly of Starr Park, unearthed by none other than Grom. Swiftly joining the park maintenance crew, he employed his unique drilling machine, Driller, to navigate the labyrinthine sewer passages and stir up a touch of mischief.

Brawl Stars Moe Guide: Moe’s Attacks

Moe’s Attack: Shovel Slinger

Moe’s main offensive move, called Shovel Slinger, consists of hurling a stone that divides into numerous smaller stones either when it reaches its furthest point or upon striking a target. Each of these smaller stones further splits, resulting in a cross-shaped array of projectiles. This attack can inflict substantial damage, particularly at close quarters where several stones might hit the same target simultaneously.

Each rock and smaller rock inflict a uniform amount of damage, which makes Moe’s attack extremely efficient in managing large groups as well as individual targets. The special mechanics of the attack enable tactical positioning and timing, enhancing its overall damage potential.

Moe’s Super: Moe’s Machine

With Moe’s Super Machine, referred to as Moe’s Burrower, Moe can excavate below ground heading towards a specific spot. As he tunnels through, he becomes invincible and inflicts harm on any adversaries he encounters. Once he arrives at his target destination, Moe exits this machine and transforms into an alternate form, dishing out extra damage and sending foes flying upwards.

Star Powers

Moe’s Initial Ability – Stone Splintering: By skipping stones, Moe amplifies the power of his regular form’s attacks. When these smaller rocks collide, they shatter into even smaller pieces. This doesn’t extend his reach but dramatically increases his damage output, particularly in tight fighting situations.

During his Super, Moe gains a boost in movement speed while moving underground. This enables him to traverse larger distances swiftly, often catching opponents off guard with his sudden reappearance.

Gadgets

Moe’s initial gadget, dubbed “Dodgy Digging,” temporarily boosts his Super charge speed by 50%. This means he can utilize his Super ability more often. It’s especially beneficial for keeping up the offensive against the opposing team and managing crucial spots on the map.

Moe’s second device, titled “Rat Race,” propels its alternative version ahead for a brief distance, demolishing barriers and pushing adversaries out of the path. It serves as an effective means to bridge gaps with enemies or swiftly exit perilous circumstances.

Best Gears for Moe in Brawl Stars

  • Damage Gear: The Damage Gear is an excellent choice for Moe because it increases his damage output by 15% when his health falls below 50%. Given Moe’s role as a damage dealer, this gear ensures he remains a threat even when his health is low. This is particularly useful in his alternate form, where he can deal continuous damage with his Giga Drill Break attack.
  • Shield Gear: The Shield Gear provides Moe with an additional 900 HP shield when he is at full health. This shield regenerates at a rate of 90 health per second after 10 seconds of not taking damage. This gear enhances Moe’s survivability, allowing him to stay in the fight longer and make the most of his high damage output. The extra protection is especially beneficial when Moe uses his Super to dive into enemy lines.

Tips and Tricks to master Moe in Brawl Stars

  • Utilize Moe’s Shovel Slinger attack at close range to maximize damage output. The splitting rocks can hit multiple times, dealing significant damage to enemies.
  • Make the most of Moe’s Gadget and Star Power to enhance his abilities. Dodgy Digging can help you charge your Super faster, while Skipping Stones can increase your damage output in close-quarters combat.
  • Position Moe in areas where he can take advantage of his long-range attack while staying safe from enemy fire. Use walls and obstacles to your advantage.
  • Time your Super and Gadget usage to maximize their effectiveness. Use Dodgy Digging when you need to charge your Super quickly and activate Moe’s Machine when you see an opportunity to disrupt the enemy team.

Conclusion

In Brawl Stars, Moe is a flexible Mythic Brawler who stands out with his distinctive dual-form abilities and significant damage capacity. His main attack, the Shovel Slinger, and his potent secondary attack, the Giga Drill Break, enable Moe to manage the battlefield effectively. Moreover, his Supers, Moe’s Machine and Bail Out, offer both offensive and defensive advantages, making him a challenging adversary.
