Furthermore, from now until February 6, 2025, you can earn 50% extra Mastery for your Brawlers!
Brawl Stars Melodie’s Version Challenge Event Overview
The “Melodie’s Version Contest” is a short-term event divided into four parts, much like the “GRUESOME Challenge Event“, allowing you to acquire Melodie for free or receive 500 Credits if you already possess the Brawler. Each stage necessitates winning three battles to advance.

To finish the challenge and earn the Brawler, you must accumulate a total of 12 victories. Keep in mind that if some games are lost, you may utilize your stored gems for extra opportunities. Hopefully, you’ve saved up enough gems.
How to complete Melodie’s Version Challenge event
The event’s completion seems straightforward and uncomplicated since you just need to conquer four distinct phases to collect the prizes. Each phase demands three victories before moving on to the next one, while granting a Starr drop for every win. Here’s a breakdown of each stage, along with advice for finishing them and earning all the rewards:
This version maintains the original meaning but rephrases it in a more conversational tone and breaks down the information into shorter sentences to make it easier to read and understand.
Melodie’s Version Challenge Stage 1: Gem Grab
In a 3-versus-3 setting, known as Gem Grab, you aim to gather Gems that emerge from a mine situated centrally in the map during the GRUESOME Challenge event. The team with the highest number of gems ultimately triumphs. The Hard Rock Mine map is utilized for this specific mode of play called Gem Grab.

To effortlessly conquer this stage, consider employing characters such as “8-Bit,” “Gene,” or “Gus” in the Mid area to gather gems from the Gem Mine. For those who favor laning, options include “Rico,” “Janet,” “Darryl,” and “Juju.” Combine these Brawlers to boost your chances of victory.
Melodie’s Version Challenge Stage 2: Brawl Ball
In this game, known as Brawl Ball, you engage in a thrilling 3-versus-3 competition. Instead of conventional scoring, your objective is to move the ball towards your opponents’ goalpost and shoot it in. You can emerge victorious by achieving two goals or maintaining a lead until the timer expires. Essentially, it’s a blend of football with a unique Brawl Stars flavor. The Backyard Bowl map serves as the battleground for this exhilarating Brawl Ball mode.

In the Brawl Ball game mode, especially on the Backyard Bowl map, you might want to pick Gus, Piper, or Byron as they excel at mid-control. For laning and supporting your team, think about utilizing Max, Stu, or Carl. Your main goal in this mode is either to score goals yourself or help your teammates do so.
Melodie’s Version Challenge Stage 3: Heist
In the “Heist” game mode, you work in a 3-player team to safeguard your own vault while attempting to crack open your opponents’ vault simultaneously. To emerge victorious, you must successfully break into your enemies’ vault before the clock ticks down to zero. If time expires without either vault being breached, the team that has inflicted more damage on their opponent’s vault is declared the winner. The “Heist” mode takes place on the “Safe Zone” map.

In this case, consider using Piper, Colette, or Brock to control the central region and inflict damage from a distance with their long-range attacks. For area control and flanking, you might prefer Eve, Juju, or Angelo. Make full use of Juju’s passive on this map for an added advantage.
Melodie’s Version Challenge Stage 4: Knockout
In summary, you’ll encounter the final stage, known as Stage 4, which introduces the Knockout Mode. This is a team-based mode with three participants on each side, where the goal is to outperform your opponents in a series of best-of-three matches. The difficulty lies in the fact that brawlers who are defeated during the battle cannot rejoin until the round ends, and as time passes, toxic fog creeps in from the edges, making it increasingly difficult to survive.

In the final phase of play, you’ll find the map labeled as “The Community Map: Out in the Open”. To keep control at the center and take out opponents, opt for characters like Piper, Gus, Brock, or Belle. For those looking to dominate lanes, Angelo, Eve, or Pearl are recommended choices for this particular map.
Complete the Challenge and unlock Melodie for free
To obtain Melodie if you don’t have her yet, or to earn 500 Credits if you already own her, ensure you finish every step of this challenge. But do note that this event tends to favor a Pay-to-Win model, as successfully completing all stages without any losses can be quite challenging.

You have just four attempts left, and each extra try will set you back 9 Gems. To boost your odds of success, I recommend assembling a team using the suggested Brawlers listed previously, which should make it simpler to progress through the stages.
