Brawl Stars Kaze Guide – All Forms, Attacks, & Stats Per Level

In the course of a battle, Kaze provides the player with two distinct modes to utilize: Geisha and Ninja. Each mode possesses its unique primary attack and Super move for Kaze to exploit.

Kaze (Geisha)

In the guise of a Geisha, Kaze initiates combat with her primary move from the Delivery Service, which she often employs first. This attack resembles Mortis’ main attack in function. Kaze charges forward, slashing and injuring enemies as she goes. However, it’s important to note that the dash itself does not cause harm; damage is only inflicted once Kaze completes her charge.

Additionally, just as Shade’s primary assault, Delivery Service has a specific spot for impact that inflicts greater harm when it connects at the correct angle. However, executing this accurately can be challenging, but it doubles the damage dealt with every Weak Spot hit.

Kaze (Geisha)’s special ability, Fan Storm, allows her to hurl her fan, creating a brief whirlwind. Within this wind, adversaries are unable to perceive anything beyond it, providing you and your allies an advantageous position. Additionally, enemies lingering on the storm’s edge sustain damage for each second they remain there.

Kaze (Ninja)

In her Ninja guise, Kaze’s primary attack, the covertly launched Shuriken Pair, enables her to hurl two ranged projectiles that inflict greater harm on targets that are nearer to you. Her special move in this form, known as Fist of the Cosmic Battleground, empowers her to cover a significant distance with a dash, tagging enemies as she goes. After a short delay, all tagged opponents detonate and sustain damage.

Brawl Stars Kaze Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?

Kaze has two gadgets at launch, which change effect depending on her form:

  • Gracious Host
    • Geisha Form – “Switch to Ninja Aspect and gain 30% Movement Speed for 2.5 sec.”
    • Ninja Form – “Switch to Geisha Aspect and heal for 30% of max health”
  • Hensojutsu
    • Geisha Form – “Switch to Ninja Aspect and gain invisibility for 2 sec”
    • Ninja Form – “Switch to Geisha Aspect and dash forward”

Additionally, Kaze has two Star Powers, which change depending on which form she’s using

  • Advanced Techniques
    • Geisha – “Hitting an enemy in a Strike Spot also slows them by 30% for 2.5 sec”
    • Ninja – “When a marked enemy is defeated, they will deal area damage to other enemies.”
  • Gratuity Included
    • Geisha – “Removes 34% ammo from brawlers initially caught in the Fan Storm”
    • Ninja – “Increases duration of Gadget effects by 50%”

Furthermore, Kaze can use the following gadgets in battle:

  • Speed
  • Vision
  • Health
  • Shield
  • Damage
  • Gadget Cooldown

Brawl Stars Kaze Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup

For your gadgets, we suggest utilizing the “Gracious Host”. In an emergency, transitioning into Ninja Aspect can provide beneficial healing. Also, the speed increase during this transformation may aid in dodging enemy attacks. Unfortunately, Hensojutsu’s invisibility doesn’t last long enough. Additionally, the forward dash when returning to Geisha form does not seem particularly useful.

Regarding Star Powers, we slightly lean towards “Gratuity Included” due to its advantageous ammo drain, which facilitates team wipes. Additionally, extending the duration of your gadget’s effect offers more benefits than you might think. The perks of Advanced Techniques are also valuable, particularly the feature that allows you to slow down enemies when in Geisha form.

Instead of instant switching between Gear modes, consider implementing a Gadget Cool-down for smoother transitions. As an additional suggestion, equipping a protective Shield or Health Gear will help safeguard the Geisha Form from potential harm.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Kaze In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)

Gem Grab

Kaze’s two abilities offer significant advantages in Gem Grab team matches. In her agile Geisha Form, she can swiftly dart with gems or catch opponents off guard with her Fan Storm. However, should the situation require it, she can transform into Geisha and clear out gem grabbers from a distance. Essentially, Kaze becomes an all-purpose tool on the battlefield, especially in one of the game’s most played modes.

Duo/Trio Showdown

Kaze is versatile in Duo Showdown, as she can excel in various compositions. In her Geisha form, she effortlessly eliminates boxes and stacks power cubes quickly. However, she also has the ability to transform into her Ninja form, enabling her to attack enemies from a distance. Kaze complements well with a robust healer or support character such as Ruffs or Pam.

Brawl Ball

In a game of Brawl Ball, Kaze’s Fan Storm ability can immobilize opponents, providing an advantage for your team. Furthermore, she can swiftly navigate the map using her Geisha Form dashes and secure more territory. However, if the situation requires it, she can transform into her Ninja form to attack enemies from afar. Overall, she’s a valuable asset in this game mode.

Brawl Stars Kaze Guide – What Modes Should I NOT Use Kaze In?

Solo Showdown

On her own, Kaze might not hold as much strength during Showdown matches. Distant adversaries can take her out from afar with their sniping abilities. Additionally, other brawlers are geared towards either pushing, stunning, or knocking her back. In her Ninja form, Kaze’s damage output may be insufficient, which could pose a problem in late-game scenarios when you encounter opponents armed with power cubes. While she is not terrible in this mode, it’s not where she truly excels.

Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout

Generally, these game types tend to benefit long-range combatants more. Characters such as Mandy, Meeple, or Piper can effectively take down Kaze due to their range advantage. Despite her Geisha dash, opponents can easily anticipate her movements and eliminate her. It’s advisable to play these modes with her only when there are plenty of hiding spots on the map.

Here’s my take on it:

All right, folks! That brings us to the end of our guide for Brawl Stars’ Kaze. Wishing you all the best in your quest to unlock her! I truly hope you have a blast using Kaze in your battles!
