Brawl Stars Glowbert Guide: Abilities Breakdown
Glowbert’s Unique Trait
Glowbert has a unique trait thanks to which you can charge Super by healing yourself and teammates.
Glowbert’s Attack: Glowbeam
Okay, so this ability lets me fire a Glowbeam that creates this energy tether. It’s awesome because it damages enemies, but also heals my teammates if the beam connects! I can even link an enemy and a teammate together with it at the same time. Just gotta watch out – if they get too far apart or I lose sight of either of them, the tether snaps.
Glowbert’s Super: Creep from the Deep
The Creep from the Deep Super lets you expose a large area, inflicting minor piercing damage and launching projectiles that slow enemies. The real strength is that any enemy hit will be frightened and flee, all while being slowed and unable to attack, use their Super, or Hypercharge.
Tips for using Glowbert’s Super
- Use it to control space: Now, the fear effect is great to force your enemies to either retreat or ambush them. So, try to activate the Super when your enemies are grouped together or break their rhythm in game modes like Gem Grab or Hot Zone.
- Position it carefully: You need to understand that this fear effect only affects enemies facing you, so try to position yourself in front of them rather than flanking from different angles.
- Try to not overcommit: Considering the effect last a few seconds, so I’ll suggest you not to overcommit when you don’t need to.
Brawl Stars Glowbert Guide: Gadgets and Star Powers
Gadgets
Slippery Savior
With Slippery Savior, you can quickly dash in a chosen direction, simultaneously healing yourself and any nearby teammates when you reach your destination. It recharges every 13 seconds.
More Lumens!
More Lumens significantly boosts your glowbeam tethers, instantly doubling their damage and healing power for a short time. It recharges after 17 seconds.
Star Powers
Biotic Ecosystem
When you have the Biotic Ecosystem star power and are connected to both an enemy and a teammate, you’ll take less damage and your teammates will deal more.
Parasitism
Using the Parasitism ability lets you regain health equal to a percentage of the damage you inflict while connected to an enemy.
Best Game Modes for Glowbert
I’m a big fan of Glowbert, and I’ve found that because his abilities are all about staying power and controlling the battlefield, he does really well in a lot of different game modes. If I had to pick his best ones though, here’s what I’d say:
Best Brawler Combination with Glowbert
Glowbert is a strong Brawler by itself, but you’ll have a better chance of winning if you team up with other good ones. If you like playing aggressively, try pairing Glowbert with Brawlers like Kenji, Kaze, or Mortis, and stay connected to them as they attack. For a more defensive approach, Frank and Hank make excellent teammates.
Best Gears for Glowbert in Brawl Stars
Shield Gear or Health Gear
If you’re a Support Brawler, your priority is staying alive so you can heal and defend your teammates. Using Health Gear will help you recover 50% more health. The Shield Gear gives you an extra 900 health as a temporary shield that fully regenerates after 10 seconds when you’re at full health.
