Brawl Stars Finx Guide: What to Know About the First Time-Controlling Brawler
In a forthcoming update, Finx, one of the most recent characters, will join the roster of players in Brawl Stars. Known as the mastermind behind Starr Park’s escape room, Finx is recognized for his knack for adding excitement. Reflecting this personality in the game, his abilities are designed to keep things intriguing as well.
In Brawl Stars, Finx stands out as the initial character capable of manipulating time. This unique talent gives him the power to impact any fight he participates in. With this skill, along with other tactical weapons at his disposal, Finx excels as a premier Controller. He can take advantage of enemy mispositioning and provide an edge for his teammates.
All of Finx’s Abilities in Brawl Stars, Listed
Finx’s arsenal of abilities includes a basic attack, a Super, two Star Powers, and two Gadgets.
His primary offensive move, Chronocast, serves as his main attacking strategy. This attack discharges projectiles which, upon impact, help him build up his Super. Conversely, Finx’s Super, called Time Warp, is particularly potent because it enables Finx to distort time to weaken the attacks of his adversaries.
Similar to other Brawlers, Finx possesses two special tools called Gadgets and Star Powers. These tools serve different functions: Gadgets are capabilities that can be utilized up to three times during the same game, whereas Star Powers function as permanent advantages throughout a single match.
You can find an overview of Finx’s abilities listed below:
Ability | Description |
Basic Attack | Finx’s basic attack fires three projectiles forward in a single wave, with the outer two projectivles being slightly smaller in size compared to the middle. The outer two also deal less damage than the middle projectile. |
Super | With his Super, Finx can cast a temporary, area-of-effect spell onto the battlefield. The speed of enemy projectiles caught in this area will be decreased, while the speed of allied projectiles will increase. |
Star Powers | Hieroglyph Halt: Finx reduces the reload speed of any enemy Brawlers hit by his basic attack for a few seconds. Primer: Damage dealt by Finx and any teammates affected by Finx’s Super will increase its duration |
Gadgets | Finxture: When activated, Finx steps back in time to the positions he was in three seconds prior. This Gadget will also restore him to max ammo. TBA |
At this moment in time, Finx has no unique Hypercharge. He will receive one in a future update.
Overview of Finx’s Stats
As I’m typing this up, it seems like Finx hasn’t dropped into Brawl Stars just yet. Unfortunately, I can’t give you the lowdown on his stats because they’re still under wraps until he makes an appearance. However, here’s a tidbit: when fully leveled up, Finx packs a punch with a whopping HP of 7,200!
We will update this section once the details of his stats are confirmed.
