In the game shop currently, you’ll find Finx, a character of Mythic Brawler rarity, available as early access. You have two options: buy the Finx’s Value Pack with other exclusive goodies for just $11.99, which includes Finx, Jurassic Finx Skin, 5000 Coinsy, 80 Gems, Pin set, and a Spray. Alternatively, you can wait until March 6, 2025, to unlock him using either 1900 Credits or 349 Gems on the Starr Road.

Finx’s Attack: Chronocast

Using his primary ability, Chronocast, Finx launches three distant missiles. The outer missiles cause half the damage of the central one, enabling you to deal substantial harm to opposing Brawlers.

Finx’s Super: Time Warp

In simpler terms, Finx’s special ability, called “Time Wrap,” alters time within a specific region for 7 seconds. It slows down the speed of enemy Brawlers inside the ability while accelerating your teammates and yourself. Additionally, Finx’s projectiles receive an increase in damage during this period.

Tips for using Finx’s Super

  • Use it to protect your team: Finx’s Super is great for protecting your team. For instance, it can slow down powerful enemy Supers like Brock’s Rocket Rain or Barley’s Last Call, giving your team time to reposition or escape the danger zone.
  • Aggressive team plays: You should take advantage of the projectile speed boost to go on the offense in game modes like Heist or Gem Grab. This allows you to launch a rapid, coordinated attack.

When turned on, you’ll find yourself momentarily rewinding time, ending up exactly where you were three seconds back, with the same amount of ammunition you had then.

No Escape

When employing the given gadget, the subsequent primary projectile fired by Finx will momentarily freeze the opposing Brawler for a duration of two seconds. This means they cannot perform any actions, yet they become invulnerable to harm while under its influence.

Star Power

Hieroglyph Halt

In simpler terms, the ability “Star Power – Hieroglyph Halt” you have equipped slows down the reloading speed of enemy Brawlers when they are hit by your main attack. This reduction in their reload speed lasts for 3 seconds and amounts to 30%.

Primer

Whenever you activate the Primer Star Power, each projectile fired from Finx that’s enhanced by Time Warp will not only increase the damage but also prolong the Super’s effect by a quarter of a second for every projectile.

Best Brawler Combination with Finx

Finx’s Super is incredibly advantageous for the squad, and combining him with suitable Brawlers will amplify its effectiveness. I think Brawlers such as Colt or Brock could make the most of Finx’s Super, especially in modes like Hot Zone and Heist. Furthermore, teaming him up with long-range snipers like Piper can greatly increase the squad’s damage output. As for tanks, Frank or any stun-type tanks would be an outstanding pick.

Best Gears for Finx in Brawl Stars

Shield Gear

In the heat of the game, as a controller, it’s crucial to prioritize safety so you can efficiently aid your team. The Shield Gear is an excellent complement to Finx, offering an extra 900 health points as a rechargeable shield. This shield regenerates every 10 seconds when you are at full health.

Gadget Cooldown Gear

The updated gadget, known as the “Gadget Cooldown,” which has taken over from the previous “Gadget Charge Gear,” is equally beneficial for Finx. It decreases their cooldown by 15%, enabling them to utilize these gadgets more frequently. Given that both of Finx’s gadgets are highly effective, this gear can further boost their efficiency.

Health Gear

In my opinion, the Health Gear would complement Finx effectively, since it expedites his HP recovery following encounters with potent enemy supers by utilizing his own super. Boasting a 50% enhancement in health regeneration, this equipment undeniably proves beneficial.
