Brawl Stars recently revealed its February 2026 update in a Brawl Talk, building on the December 2025 update that introduced Buffies and changes to the Brawl Pass. This new update includes a revamped Trophy system, the 100th Brawler named Sirius, fresh Buffies, new game modes, events, and other exciting features. Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming!

Brawl Stars February 2026 Brawl Talk: New Brawlers and Game Modes

Sirius

Sirius is the 100th Brawler added to Brawl Stars, and he’s a special one – an Ultra Legendary Brawler with a completely new way to play! He’s also the first Villain in the game, meaning you can control shadowy versions of other Brawlers. His main attack lets him fire two things at once: a Shadow Strike that goes straight ahead, and a Star Bomb you can aim to hit multiple enemies.

When you damage enemy Brawlers enough, you collect a Brawler Shadow. Then, using their Super, you can summon up to three of these Shadows. What’s great is that these Shadows have similar stats – like attack power and health – to the original Brawlers.

These shadowy creatures automatically attack and generally stick with you, but you can also direct their actions. You can use your Super to tell them to defend a specific spot or focus on particular opponents. He arrives with a special ability called Unlimited Power Hypercharge, allowing you to summon stronger versions of these shadows.

Najia

Joining Brawl Stars on March 20, 2026, is Najia, a powerful new Brawler who specializes in dealing Mythic Damage! She used to work for Finx, making the Pyramid Quest puzzles more challenging. Her main attack lets her throw a jar of snakes that release in any direction. This allows you to hit enemies in hard-to-reach places, dealing damage with the jar itself and poisoning them with the snakes.

What makes this character really strong is their ability to build up poison damage over time. Their Super, “Danger Noodle,” lets you launch three paper snakes that cover an area and poison any opponents caught within it. You can even control where the snakes land by aiming the throw.

New Game Modes

The game is updating with an improved Treasure Hunt mode. Plus, Samurai Smash has been revamped – now, you’ll compete against Brawler Shadows in a team battle, and the team that defeats the most shadows wins!

Loaded Showdown

The new Loaded Showdown mode now features mystery boxes instead of the usual showdown boxes. These boxes contain various power-ups, including fun new items like bowling balls, bombs, and bumper cars that you can throw or use.

The game will feature challenging new boss battles with unique mechanics, as well as specially designed dungeon levels. Additionally, certain matches will include two new modifiers inspired by Brawler Powers: Finx, which briefly stops incoming projectiles, and Sandy, which creates a shifting sandstorm effect.

Buffies

I’m really excited to see that Supercell is adding more Buffies to Brawl Stars! They’re rolling them out for both the Retropolis and Rumble Jungle Trios now, and they’re also tweaking how Buffies work overall. It’s a nice change!

Now, here are the new Buffies and reworks they’re bringing:

Crow: Instaposion and Slowing Toxin Gadget Buffies, Extra Toxic and Carrion Crow Star Buffies, and Utility Knives Hyper Buffie.
Bibi: Vitamin Booster and Extra Sticky Gadget Buffies, Home Run and Battling Stance Star Buffies, and Out of Bounds Hyper Buffie.
Bull: T-Bone Injector and Stomper Gadget Buffies, Berserker and Tough Guy Star Buffies, and Jaws of Steel Hyper Buffie.
Nita: Bear Paws and Faux Fur Gadget Buffies, Bear With Me and Hyper Bear Star Buffies, and Hyperbearing Hyper Buffie.
Leon: Clone Projector and Lollipop Drop Gadget Buffies, Smoke Trails and Invisiheal Star Buffies, and Limbo Hyper Buffie.
Bo: Super Totem and Tripwire Gadget Buffies, Circling Eagle and Snare a Bear Star Buffies, and Catch a Bear Hyper Buffie.

Okay, so about making things better, those little helper buddies I was talking about – the Buffies – are coming in a new Claw Machine! And the best part? You get one free pull on each Claw Machine to start. Plus, every month, you can snag a random Buffie just by checking out Mega Quest. Pretty cool, right?

New Trophy System – Prestige

We’re excited to introduce Prestige, our new Trophy System! Unlike previous systems, your progress won’t reset. As you earn Trophies – from 0 to 1000 – you’ll unlock cool rewards for your Brawlers. These include things like a Player Icon and Spray at 250 Trophies, and even a free Skin worth 29 Gems at 750 Trophies. Reaching 1000 Trophies will earn you the prestigious Gold Brawler Title, ‘Rocket’!

I’m really excited about the changes they’re making! It sounds like they’re taking the cosmetic rewards away from Records and moving them to the Trophy System, which I think is a great idea. What I especially love is that we’ll now get way more Trophies with each win, and even more for win streaks – up to 10+ Trophies! Plus, once you hit 1000 Trophies, you unlock Prestige 1, and the best part is you keep all your Trophies, so you’re guaranteed to stay at that level!

From there, you’ll get Prestige Trophies adding to the Trophy Road. As you hit 1000 Prestige Trophies, you’ll ascend to Prestige 2, where you get Brawler Rank change and a unique Player Icon. Then comes Prestige 3 which is equivalent to the good old Rank 35. After this, you won’t get win streaks bonus but there will be fair matchmaking and the new Brawler title in Neon, Right Behind You.

Okay, so the rewards for prestiging Brawlers are getting even better! If I prestige just one, I’ll get a new Battle Card. Then, when I hit 25 prestiges, I’ll get an even better one, and a super shiny one at 50! They’re also changing how the leaderboards work – it’ll be based on my total trophies, prestige trophies, and how many times I’ve prestigiated. Oh, and the old system for calculating scores is going to become a ‘Legacy Stat’ – basically, it’ll still be there, but won’t be used for current rankings anymore.

Hidden MMR and Trophy Season changes

The game is improving how it matches players by secretly tracking skill level instead of just using trophies. With the next update, you’ll face tougher opponents as you continue to win and improve.

The current Trophy Season is ending shortly, and as a thank you, you’ll receive an Ultra Trophy Box. After this season, Trophy Boxes will no longer be available as regular rewards, but you’ll be able to earn them during future Community events.

Rush Events

Rush Events are a new feature that let you earn extra rewards like Coins, Power Points, and Chaos Drops, as well as Bonus Trophies. When the feature launches, simply press and hold the button on the game mode screen to start. Keep in mind that Rush Events are only available for a limited time, so activate them when you’re ready to play!

New Hypercharge

The game is bringing new hypercharges for the recently released Brawlers:

Pierce’s Second Wave Hypercharge: You can fire two waves of projectiles with the second one dealing 50% less damage.
Glowbert’s You Need a Friend Hypercharge: With this, your fear affects everyone and it doesn’t matter which direction you’re facing. Moreover, feared Brawlers will also take more damage from all sources.

New Skins

Sands of Time skin series

Get ready for some exciting new skins! The upcoming “Sands of Time” series features different looks for Lily, including Sandstalker, Sandwalker, and Night Sands versions, and will be available as part of the Brawl Pass. Alongside that, you’ll find skins for Sultan Cordelius – Heated and Cooled versions – as another set. Plus, keep an eye out for new looks for Body Guard Bibi, Canopic Jar 8-Bit, Dynasty Doug, and Magic Lamp Larry & Lawrie!

Dragons and Faeries skin series

The new Dragons and Faeries update includes several character skins. Players can unlock Faerie Bonnie, Dark Faerie Bonnie, and Bright Faerie Bonnie through the Brawl Pass, alongside Dragon Griff, Greedy Griff, and Hoarder Griff. Additionally, Faerie Mina, Faerie Frank, Dragon Maisie, and Dragon Grom are also available as part of this update.

Pro Pass Skin

The Pro Pass includes the Dragon Crow skin, with a Dragonkin Crow version also available. You’ll also get two color variations: Dragonforged Crow and Ghost Dragon Crow.

Misc Skins

Coming to Misc skins, you get Royale Trunk, Bertglow, Inflatable Melodie, and Bruce Nita.

The game is also getting visual updates, with shields now appearing in different colors – white, yellow, and purple – depending on certain conditions. Also, Drew won’t be hosting future Brawl Talks, as he’s taking on a new position within the Brawl Stars team.
