Brawl Stars Colt Guide – Best Setup for Rare Brawler

This guide will help you master Colt in Brawl Stars. We’ll cover his attacks, stats, and abilities to create the best possible setup. Colt is a well-rounded brawler that many players unlock fairly early on. Let’s dive right in and take a closer look!

Brawl Stars Colt Guide – How To Unlock

To unlock Colt in Brawl Stars, players can:

  • Unlock him on Trophy Road when you earn 405 trophies
  • Unlock him from a Mega Box (1% chance)

You’ll probably get Colt by playing through Trophy Road. There’s a small chance you could unlock him early with a Mega Box, but he’s generally a pretty easy brawler to get.

Brawl Stars Colt Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level

As a player, I’ve found Colt’s main attack, Six-Shooters, is super effective at a distance. You fire six shots at once, and each one does damage. The best part is the reload is really fast, so you can keep the damage coming – making Colt a solid choice if you like getting up close and dealing consistent damage.

Okay, so in Bullet Storm, my Super ability lets me unleash a barrage of 12 bullets. They fly further and have a wider spread, which is awesome for blowing through walls and hitting multiple enemies. The downside? Each bullet doesn’t hit as hard as my regular shots, so it’s more about volume and area control than one-hit kills.

Here’s a look at Colt’s current stats (as of May 2026). Please keep in mind that these numbers are subject to change and may not be completely up-to-date.

POWER LEVEL Health Main Attack Damage Bullet Super Damage
1 3100 360 320
2 3410 396 352
3 3720 432 384
4 4030 468 416
5 4340 504 448
6 4650 540 480
7 4960 576 512
8 5270 612 544
9 5580 648 576
10 5890 684 608
11 6200 720 640

Brawl Stars Colt Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?

Overall, Colt has two gadgets:

  • Speedloader – “Colt fires two quick shots that slow targets.”
    • Buffie Effect – “Each hit steals 0.5 ammo.”
  • Silver Bullet – “Colt fires a bullet that destroys the environment and pierces Brawlers. Deals damage and consumes ammo”
    • Buffie Effect – “Shoot a larger bullet that deals more damage.”

Additionally, Colt has two Star Powers:

  • Slick Boots – “Colt’s movement speed is increased by 13%.”
    • Buffie Effect: “Gain movement speed when dealing damage.”
  • Magnum Special – “Colt’s attack range and bullet speed are increased by 11%.”
    • Buffie Effect: “Deal increased damage to distant targets.”

Furthermore, Colt can use the following gears in battle:

  • Speed
  • Vision
  • Health
  • Shield
  • Damage
  • Gadget Cooldown

Finally, Colt’s Hypercharge ability, Dual Wielding, makes his Super attack cover a wider area. When paired with the Buffie, it also speeds up how quickly he fires bullets from his regular attack.

Brawl Stars Colt Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup

If you’re choosing gadgets, we suggest Speedloader, particularly if you already have Colt’s Gadget Buffie. It slows down enemies, damages them, and lets you steal their ammo, which significantly reduces their chances of survival. While Silver Bullet can break walls and deal damage, it uses up your ammo with each shot. Speedloader is the better choice.

When choosing Star Powers, we usually prefer Magnum Special because it increases both range and bullet speed. The faster bullets are especially helpful, making it harder for opponents to avoid getting hit. I only really use Slick Boots in Brawl Ball or Gem Grab when a quick boost in speed is essential; otherwise, Magnum Special is our go-to choice.

When equipping Gears for Gears, we suggest a Damage Gear. Then, choose either a Shield Gear or a Gadget Cooldown Gear. Colt excels at dealing damage, so boosting this strength will significantly help him in fights. Because Colt doesn’t have much health, a Shield Gear can provide valuable protection. Alternatively, if you frequently use Colt’s Gadgets, a Gadget Cooldown Gear is a good choice.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Colt In (And Which Modes You Shouldn’t)

Heist

Colt is a strong choice for Heist thanks to his high damage output. We suggest using the Magnum Special, as its increased range lets him attack the safe from further away. His Super ability is also useful for creating new paths by destroying walls, and it can damage enemies along the way, effectively doing two things at once.

Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout

Colt is a strong pick for most game modes thanks to his long range and powerful Super ability. He’s a bit fragile, so players should be mindful of his low health, but the Magnum Special can help him attack from a safer distance. When dealing with fast-moving opponents like Edgar, the Speedloader is great for keeping up the pressure. Plus, Colt’s Super can pierce through enemies, letting him damage several at the same time.

Showdown

Colt excels in Showdown, particularly in Duos and Trios modes. He deals a lot of damage quickly, allowing him to break open boxes and defeat opponents easily. His Super ability can remove enemy cover or hit several enemies simultaneously. However, be mindful of your positioning, as his health of 6200 isn’t very high for Brawl Stars.

Brawl Stars Colt Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Colt In?

Gem Grab

Colt can attack from far away, but he’s not very effective at stopping opponents from collecting gems. He also has low health and doesn’t offer much help in Gem Grab compared to brawlers like Tara. Plus, if Colt is carrying the gems, he has no way to quickly escape danger.

Hot Zone

Colt’s attacks aren’t effective because the area enemies control is too large. They can easily avoid his shots while continuing to score points, and Colt is vulnerable to being defeated quickly due to his low health.

Overall, that wraps up our Brawl Stars Colt Guide!
