In the most recent Brawl Talk, Supercell detailed all the new elements set to arrive in the upcoming update for Brawl Stars, including fresh Brawlers, enthralling Skins, captivating events, and a whole lot more that you’d be thrilled about.
Despite the excitement surrounding it, something seemed amiss. Many of you may remember that the team announced a highly anticipated collaboration with “Brawl Stars” in 2024, which was supposed to launch in April this year. However, we’ve recently had a collaboration with Brawl Stars, featuring the popular card game UNO. This collaboration brought a unique card-based game mode and vibrant Chester skins into the fray.
Frank, the Game Lead, acknowledged that this wasn’t the collaboration they intended to excite players.
Frank Tells Players A Brawl Stars Collab Was Canceled
This disclosure occurred following a fan’s query on X (previously known as Twitter), asking Frank whether the UNO collaboration was indeed the one that Supercell had mentioned.
Affirmatively speaking: That’s not what happened. We may delve deeper into this topic at a future time. However, the discussion in Brawl Talk underwent a significant change of direction.

I was taken aback when he simply said “no,” but then Frank clarified that the content discussed in April’s Brawl Talk represented a significant shift, or as he put it, a “complete pivot,” away from the initial ideas the developers had in mind.
It’s said that the collaboration was allegedly called off near the end of its production process, a possibility that seems plausible given that the Brawl Stars team only hinted at it towards the end of last year.
The “Really Cool Collab” Might Be A Reality One Day
In the very same discussion, a participant conveyed empathy for the efforts the developers have put into this possible collaboration. Frank then replied, suggesting that it’s not completely abandoned yet and they might revisit it at some future time.
Not necessarily lost. We might still get to it at a later point.

It’s plausible that this partnership might be implemented in the game ‘Brawl Stars’, but when exactly is uncertain. As always, Supercell prefers to keep such details under wraps.
If it’s as fantastic as previous collaborations such as those with Toy Story, Godzilla, and SpongeBob SquarePants, then the community can certainly expect a real treat.
