Brawl Stars Balance Changes (March 2025): All Buffs & Nerfs

Supercell regularly makes adjustments to the balance of Brawl Stars each month, aiming to modify the game’s meta. These changes serve to reduce the strength of overly powerful Brawlers while boosting the power of those that are currently underperforming.

Here’s what transpired with the latest balance adjustments, which took place in March. The buffs and tweaks were designed to facilitate the introduction of a new Mythic-rarity Damage Dealer Brawler named Lumi. She is now part of the MadEvil Manor trio, debuting in ‘Brawl Stars’ at the onset of the upcoming Super Brawl season.

March’s Balance Changes for Brawl Stars

This month’s adjustments in balancing primarily involve enhancing or reducing the charging speed of Hypercharge, Super charge, and the cool-down periods for gadgets of several Brawlers. Unlike previous balance changes, these tweaks do not directly affect the basic statistics of Brawlers.

In other words, strong characters like Mr. P and Meeple have had their power reduced (nerfed). On the other hand, there have been enhancements made to Edgar and Finx.

Buffs

Here are all the buffs introduced to Brawl Stars during March:

  • Super charge rate increased from 7 attack hits → 6 attack hits

  • Hardcore Gadget cooldown decreased from 19 seconds → 17 seconds
  • Let’s Fly Gadget cooldown decreased from 23 seconds → 21 seconds
Emz
  • Hypercharge charge rate increased from 30% → 40%
Finx
  • Movement speed increased
  • Reload speed increased from 1.6 seconds → 1.3 seconds
Lola
  • Hypcharge charge rate increased from 25% → 35%
Max
  • Sneaky Sneakers Gadget cooldown decreased from 12 seconds → 10 seconds
Moe
  • Reload speed increased from 2 seconds → 1.5 seconds
Shade
  • Jump Scare Gadget cooldown decreased from 11 seconds → 9 seconds
Tara
  • Super charge rate increased from 11 attacks → 10 attacks

  • Vengeful Spirits Gadget cooldown increased from 16 seconds → 20 seconds
Gray
  • Walking Cane Gadget cooldown increased from 18 seconds → 20 seconds

  • Hypercharged projectiles home 50% less

  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 50% → 40%

  • Elementalist Gadget cooldown decreased from 50% → 30%
Leon
  • Lollipop Drop Gadget duration decreased from 15 seconds → 10 seconds
Lou
  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 8 attack hits → 9 attack hits
Meeple
  • Mansions of Meeple Gadget cooldown increased from 20 seconds → 22 seconds
  • Ragequit Gadget cooldown increased from 16 seconds → 18 seconds

  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 40% → 35%
Melodie
  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 35% → 25%
Mortis
  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 40% → 30%
Mr. P
  • Roboporters summoned from Super now lasts for 10 seconds
  • Roboporters’ movement speed decreased from 1.4 → 1.3
Ollie
  • Super charge rate decreased from 5 main attacks → 6 main attacks
  • Regulate Gadget cooldown increased from 17 seconds → 20 seconds
Poco
  • Tuning Fork Gadget cooldown increased from 16 seconds → 20 seconds
  • Protective Tunes Gadget cooldown increased from 11 seconds → 18 seconds
Rosa
  • Grow Bushes Gadget cooldown increased from 10 seconds → 13 seconds
Sam
  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 40% → 20%
Squeak
  • Windup Gadget cooldown increased from 11 seconds → 14 seconds
Stu
  • Speed Zone Gadget duration decreased from 30 seconds → 10 seconds

The next set of balance changes will be introduced to Brawl Stars at the end of April 2025.
