Brawl Stars Balance Changes (February 2025): All Buffs & Nerfs

Monthly updates from Supercell alter the gameplay dynamics in Brawl Stars through balance adjustments, which aim to keep the game meta balanced by toning down overpowered characters and boosting underperforming ones. On February 25th, they carried out a significant update that primarily revamped the entire Ranked mode, making it more competitive and lucrative.

The update prepares the game for the incoming Hypercharges and the approaching Dark Sands season, which will introduce a new character called Finx to the roster. In short, it’s a thrilling period in Brawl Stars, allowing players to test out fresh tactics as everyone adapts to the recent balance adjustments.

All February Balance Changes in Brawl Stars, Listed

This month’s balance changes are slightly smaller compared to the ones we’ve had in the recent past. As the new update introduced six Hypercharges to the game, a few adjustments had to be made to accommodate them and this has resulted in nerfs for certain Brawlers such as Max and Lou. A handful of Brawlers saw their stats buffed. You can find an overview of February’s buffs and nerfs below.

  • Ollie’s Super will now use 50% of his max ammo and no longer silence himself

  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 35 → 30

  • Hypercharge charge rate decreased from 40 → 35
Stu
  • Gaso-Heal max health heal decreased from 10% → 8%

Apart from the adjustments made to Kenji’s abilities, an extra modification has been implemented. Now, upon completing his Super, its destination for return is correctly indicated.

The next batch of balance changes will be released to Brawl Stars in an update in March.
