Brawl Stars adding new Brawlers, Ranked System, & UNO Mode
As a die-hard gamer of Brawl Stars, I’m thrilled to share that a fresh Brawl Talk has dropped! This time around, it’s packed with exciting goodies: new brawlers, hypercharges, a revamped ranked system, and even a spicy new UNO mode. And So buckle up, gamers, let’s dive into the latest Brawl Stars Brawl Talk together.
Brawl Stars Brawl Talk February 2025 – All New Brawlers & Hypercharges
Two new Brawlers are coming to Brawl Stars, per the latest Brawl Talk.
Finx is a long-distance combatant who fires three consecutive shots straight ahead. His damage output decreases as the distance increases, but this helps him avoid danger while dismantling his opponents. His Super generates a small area where enemy projectiles move more slowly, while boosting the projectiles of Finx and his teammates. This skill provides an opportunity for some impressive dodge maneuvers reminiscent of The Matrix.
The developers have also released some info on Finx’s abilities, like:
- A gadget that allows Finx to warp back to the spot he was three seconds ago. Also provides Finx with the same max ammo he had at the time.
- Hieroglyph Halt (Star Power) – The next enemy that Finx hits has decreased reload speed for a few seconds
- Primer (Star Power) – Any damage dealt by Finx or by teammates affected by his Super increase his Super’s duration
Lumi is set to be the latest addition to the roster following Draco’s trio. Her unique ability involves hurling two morning stars at long range, which pass through opponents. Once both projectiles have been launched, she can retract them, causing damage to enemies as they return.
As a die-hard fan, I’m thrilled to share that this character I adore executes a powerful three-strike combo, dealing damage across an area. Not just that, but the third strike leaves her foes momentarily stunned! Finx, the developers, have been kind enough to give us insights into her abilities:
- Hit the Lights (Gadget) – Lumi can set her thrown morning stars on fire, which deal area damage to enemies nearby.
- Frostbitten (Gadget) – Lumi creates a freezing area around her morning stars
- Star Power – Slows down enemies hit by Morning Star on its return path
- Star Power 2 – Super now deals fire damage over time
New Hypercharges – Brawl Stars Brawl Talk
Additionally, the Brawl Stars Brawl Talk mentioned 12 new Hypercharges coming to the game:
- Carl – Super now leaves trail of burning rocks that damage enemies who walk on them
- Mandy – Fires Super in three directions instead of one
- Hank – Torpedoes from Super now home in on enemies
- Bo – Allows Bo to place five more mines, in addition to any three he placed before
- Bea – Super projectiles split into two at max distance on at hit, increasing her Super’s distance
- Meg – Super range increased, and grants her shield upon transformation
- Mr P. – Now allowed two super porters at once that produce stronger bots
- Buster – Super now reflects 360 degree angle. Reflected projectiles deal more damage
- Chester – Super explodes, deals damage, spreads a poison cloud, and then leaves a slowing area.
- Lola – Ego has increased health and damage
- Grom – Super now explodes twice, with the second time changing to an X-Pattern
- Sam – Knucklebusters travel farther and recharge Super if they hit enemy during Hypercharge
In essence, it covers all the upcoming brawlers and Hypercharges for Brawl Stars. Yet, the creators have also revealed several other features planned for the game.
Brawl Stars Making Changes to Ranking System & Gadgets – Brawl Talk
Brawl Stars is modifying its ranked system again, aiming for a more engaging and challenging player experience. Let’s delve into the specifics of these changes.
Every month brings fresh maps and modes for players to enjoy during ranked playtimes. Plus, each month grants temporary max-level access to three brawlers for everyone. Once the month concludes, the Brawler returns to its previous level. You don’t need to own the Brawler to use it during that period. The initial group of Brawlers available for play includes EMZ, Gene, and Leon.
Furthermore, Brawl Stars is introducing a fresh Pass for Ranked play. This isn’t intended to replace the existing Brawl Pass, but function as an additional one. Similar to the current Brawl Pass, it features both a free and premium version, providing extra rewards for those willing to pay. To advance through new tiers in this new pass, you’ll need Pro Pass XP, much like with the original Brawl Pass.
There are tons of ways to earn Pro Pass XP, including:
- Winning Ranked Matches
- Reaching new Ranks
- Watching Live E-Sports events
- Purchasing the Pro Pass which offers free XP every day
Regarding the rewards, it varies depending on the path you’re considering. For instance, the unpaid option provides Ranked Items, Star Items, Gems, a fresh Skin, a Hypercharge Item, and Rare Star Items as well.
If you opt for the paid version, you’ll get not just the items mentioned earlier but also additional perks. This package comes with 600 gems, 5,000 Coins, cosmetics, and Pro Skin Upgrades. The Pro Skins are exclusive new skins that can only be obtained through the Pro Pass. These upgrades could range from unique pins, new animated knockdowns, attack effects, and many other exciting features. So, make sure to explore the complete list when the new Pro Pass is released.
As a dedicated gamer, I’m excited to share that each Ranked Season spans one whole month, but the Pro Pass is valid for an impressive four months! The first season under the revamped Brawl Stars Ranked System kicks off on Tuesday, February 25th. Can’t wait for all the exciting changes headed our way!
To round things up, Brawl Stars is set to receive a variety of fresh, additional enhancements throughout the upcoming months, as per the latest Brawl Talk update.
Initially, a fresh Daily Streak reward system offers freebies to players who log in daily. The longer your consecutive sign-in continues, the more desirable rewards you’ll earn. Consequently, remember to log into Brawl Stars at least once a day to claim something. Additionally, if you forget to log in one day, you can use Gems to maintain the streak.
Additionally, Brawl Stars is joining forces with UNO to introduce a novel game mode and themed character skins. In this unique mode, players aim to transport an UNO card across the map and deposit it into their opponents’ discard pile. The team that successfully discards all of their cards first emerges victorious. Notably, each card in play grants various advantages when activated.
- +2 – Teammates get two power cubes
- Cancel – Enemies silenced for three seconds
- Reverse – Move enemy cards back to base
Additionally, you can use your body to block an enemy UNO Card.
Other changes include:
- Trio Showdown permanently in game
- Gadget Charges replaced by cooldowns
- Ability to favorite brawlers, making it easier to find them
- Re-ordered Quick Chat options
In summary, this recap covers all the essential details from the recent Brawl Stars Brawl Talk, encompassing fresh Brawlers, game modes, and additional features. We’re excited to witness Finx and Lumi in action! Keep an eye on our platform for tutorials on these new brawlers.
