Brawl Stars is getting into the Halloween spirit for 2025 with lots of fantastic rewards! Get ready to collect candies!

A thrilling Halloween atmosphere is here – and Brawl Stars is celebrating with spooky fun! The Brawl-O-Ween event lets you go on a candy hunt, battle challenging bosses, and claim free rewards when you open your gifts.

Trick or Treat Boxes during Halloween in Brawl Stars

Everyone enjoys getting freebies, and Brawl-O-Ween offers plenty! There’s a dedicated area within the game where you can collect your Halloween boxes.

  • Trick Boxes look like a Halloween pumpkin with some mystic light in those eyes. If you open a Trick Box, it drops Brawl-O-Ween skins, new and old, cosmetic items, progression resources, brawlers, and more.
  • Treat Boxes are usual Trophy Boxes. You can upgrade one to the Ultra level, which may drop Legendary or Hypercharge skins.

How to earn Brawl-O-Ween candies

To obtain Brawl Stars Halloween Boxes or improve a Treat Box, you’ll need to gather and use candies. The good news is, earning this special Brawl-O-Ween currency is as simple as playing the game!

  • In addition to Star Drops, daily wins bring candies during October.

  • The Brawl-O-Ween event features a special game mode, where you should battle Halloween bosses in Brawl Stars. Candies come as a win reward.

When you tap the Candy Rush button, you’ll get extra candies with each tap. This delightful event isn’t constantly running, so be sure to take advantage of it while you can.

Defeat Brawl-O-Ween bosses

This is a somewhat unusual game mode in Brawl Stars where you battle against AI-controlled bosses. You’ll join forces with two teammates to take down three powerful enemies.

Throughout the Halloween period, the game features special, temporary events. These events include various bosses with several difficulty settings. To collect all the candies on offer, you must complete every stage of an event, progressing from Normal to the most challenging, Impossible level.

  • The Brawl-O-Ween bosses are six creatures, and you need to approach them differently. Choose the best brawler for each.
  • On easy difficulties, it’s a good idea to attack every boss separately from teammates. On later levels, you may want to combine your effort and defeat them one by one together.
  • Don’t forget about health recovery! Hide and chill to attack again. It’s better than dying and losing the match. You should use this tactic in other modes as well: dying in Brawl Arena, for example, means feeding your opponents with XP.
  • When you teammates are dead, your primary goal is to survive for them to get back.

Plague Doctor Crow and other Brawl Stars Halloween Skins

In addition to the events, Brawl Stars features a Halloween Brawl Pass each year. In 2024, the Skeletal Surge event was part of Brawl-O-Ween. This year, Crow is getting a frightening new skin.

  • Plague Doctor Crow is the main reward of this Halloween Brawl Pass.

  • Old Hunter Crow and Death’s Door Crow are Brawl Pass Plus rewards, and you need to pay slightly more for these Chroma variants.

  • The other Halloween skins in Brawl Stars are shown in the image below. The drop from Trick Boxes.

A fresh brawler will be added to the game later this season, so be sure to participate in the unlock event for the Mythic Controller, Ziggy. This new way of introducing brawlers began with the release of Brawl Stars’ Mina.

October also hosts the Last Chance Qualifier for the Brawl Stars World Championship 2025. This event will take place from Oct. 10 to Oct. 12 in São Paulo, Brazil.
