gumi Inc. has announced that its digital card RPG, Brave Frontier Versus, will be shutting down on June 22, 2026. The game, the latest in the popular JRPG series, launched in October 2025 after opening for pre-registration in September 2025. Unfortunately, it will have been available for less than a year.

Brave Frontier Versus is a medieval-themed card role-playing game featuring quick and strategic battles. You can use your remaining Gems or request refunds after EOS

After the announcement, the game has stopped selling Gems, but you can continue to use any you already have until the end of service. If you have unused Gems, you’ll be able to request a refund starting June 23, 2026. However, there won’t be an offline version of the game.
