As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve got the chance to pre-register for GrandSoft Inc.’s upcoming battle RPG, “BRAVE FRONTIER LEGION”. This game is part of the beloved “Brave Frontier” franchise, and while its original version was retired in April 2022, this new installment promises an exciting continuation. Originally scheduled for a May release, it’s now set to drop in June instead. Can’t wait to dive into the action!
Get ready to lead your legions in intense team-based battles
In simple terms, the game named BRAVE FRONTIER LEGION is a Role-Playing Game (RPG) focused on team combat. It offers 10 versus 10 cooperative fights for an engaging experience. You assume the role of a summoner, leading a group of distinct characters, each with their own powers and personalities, to create a powerful squad and engage in battles.

Additionally, as your units gain experience, they not only become stronger but undergo a transformation in their visual appearance. I’m particularly excited about engaging in cooperative battles that support up to 10 versus 10 players. What makes this game even more enjoyable is the inclusion of chat and stamp features for seamless team communication during combat.
Old art, mixed reactions from fans, and uncertain hopes
It appears that Gumi Inc. is collaborating with GrandSoft Inc. for this new release, and fortunately, it doesn’t seem to be another controversial crypto project like “Brave Frontier Heroes”. This one has left fans rather displeased, with some labeling it as a “quick cash grab” or noting the lack of sprites as an immediate concern.
Although there’s a sense of nostalgia surrounding this game, I think it’s premature to make definitive judgments about its success. I’d like to remain hopeful, but some fans are already expressing doubts, particularly given that the game seems to recycle artwork from the original version and the preview images don’t exactly spark excitement. In fact, one Reddit user has even labeled it as a typical card RPG.
The exciting BRAVE FRONTIER LEGION is currently available for pre-registration on Android and iOS devices in Japan. To secure your spot, you can pre-register through the Google Play Store or App Store. As per the App Store’s listing, the game is expected to launch on June 30 in Japan, albeit with a slight delay.
