R&B singers Brandy and Monica, who famously had a public disagreement years ago, are now supporting each other after a problem arose during their recent tour.
Brandy sent Monica a supportive message after unexpectedly leaving their concert in Chicago on Saturday. She praised Monica for handling the situation with poise and skill. Brandy, known for her role in “Cinderella,” walked off stage during their performance, as seen in a video posted by TMZ, leaving Monica to finish their hit song “The Boy Is Mine” by herself.
Brandy apologized for having to cut short her Chicago concert on Saturday. In a statement posted to Instagram, she explained that she became dehydrated and felt faint after weeks of intense rehearsals. She and the team agreed that her health needed to be the top priority.
Brandy, the artist behind “Afrodisiac,” explained that she decided to perform the concert even though she wasn’t feeling well. She said that even after making some changes to the show, she couldn’t fully sync up with the sound system. After leaving the arena, Brandy received medical attention and is now taking steps to improve her health.
