On Wednesday, Lorde made sure everyone noticed her arrival at the Balenciaga show, stepping out in a shimmering see-through gown following her departure from her Paris hotel.

As a devoted admirer, I can relate to the honesty of Lorde’s revelation about a challenging phase in her life when her thoughts were consumed by striving for the smallest weight.

Last week, when she surprised fans by performing a secret set at Glastonbury, the musician sat down for an open conversation with Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1, which took place on Monday.

At the beginning of 2023, she shared that she was facing mental struggles, which made it difficult for her to engage in creative activities like making music or focusing on creative endeavors.

During her performance at Glastonbury, she expressed on stage that she believed she wouldn’t create music anymore – a statement that prompted Jack to seek further explanation during their subsequent interview.

In the early months of 2023, I found myself not at my best, struggling on various fronts, and feeling an unprecedented disconnection from my creative spirit. I questioned my worth and felt creatively bankrupt, devoid of fresh ideas for quite some time.

During this time, I was making an effort to maintain the lowest possible weight, which consumed my thoughts day and night. I’d go to bed pondering food, weight, and exercise, only to wake up with those same thoughts on my mind. This could be described as a sort of creative pursuit, albeit one centered around diet and fitness.

At that point, I realized that I had to discontinue this action as it was hindering my artistic expression.

‘Once that went away it all started to come back!’

At her record release party in Berlin last Wednesday, Lorde unexpectedly took the stage for a private performance to a fortunate few audience members.

The Universal Music-hosted gathering served as a surprise unveiling for the artist’s fresh album titled “Virgin.” Fans were unaware that they would be treated to a live performance by the musician.

The artwork on the album showcases an x-ray image of her pelvic area, clearly revealing her hip bones, belt buckle, and zipper, as well as an intrauterine device inside.

There seems to be some uncertainty about whether the X-ray image is actually of Lorde. The DailyMail.com has contacted her team for confirmation on this matter.

The artist shared a video on Instagram, revealing both the title and the release date (June 27) for her fourth studio album along with it.

Somewhere else, Lorde was spotted with her alleged new partner, Jim E-Stack, who is 33 years old, following their apparent public debut as a couple during the recent Glastonbury event.

The musician, from New Zealand, wowed fans with a surprise set at the iconic music festival.

Following the performance, she was seen arriving at the London Heliport in Battersea with Jim. 

He is a producer and DJ, who has also worked with the likes of Haim, Bon Iver and Empress Of. 

As reported by The Sun, the artist was seen appearing quite intimate with another musician during their performance at the impromptu Glastonbury concert.

The couple was spotted with affectionate embraces as they enjoyed The 1975 concert, and the celebration continued long past 4 am.

The duo stirred speculations about collaborating on a fresh album when Jim E-Stack posted a picture of Lorde on Instagram in August.
