Braless Lena Dunham embraces Natalie Portman while filming new Netflix rom-com

On a bustling Monday in Manhattan’s East Village, Lena Dunham joyfully hugged Natalie Portman, her partner in producing the upcoming Netflix romantic comedy titled Good Sex, with whom she had teamed up.

In a $148 GapStudio ‘Draped Denim Slip’ maxi-dress, a matching blue scarf, and black Nike shoes, the 39-year-old filmmaker showcased her tattooed arms.

Or in another way:
The 39-year-old director was dressed casually yet stylishly at an event, wearing a $148 GapStudio ‘Draped Denim Slip’ maxi-dress, paired with a blue scarf and black Nike sneakers. Her tattooed arms were visible to all.

On Monday, Lena, with an impressive following of 3 million on Instagram, posted a photo showing off her stylish outfits. She captioned it, “Having a blast picking outfits for sets and beyond this summer.

The 44-year-old Academy Award recipient appeared relaxed in a beige T-shirt, grey joggers, and a pair of white Keds ‘Canvas Lace-Up’ sneakers.

Natasha (formerly known as Neta-Lee Hershlag) carried a bag bearing the logo of The New Yorker, while sporting dark shades that concealed her bare-faced visage.

Or more casually:
Natasha (who used to go by Neta-Lee Hershlag) was walking around with a New Yorker tote and sunglasses covering her unmade-up face.

Later, Portman donned the attire for her freshly single character, the thriving relationship therapist Ally, who finds herself entangled in a love triangle reminiscent of Celine Song’s latest romantic comedy titled Materialists.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I recently stepped into an ensemble that truly embodies elegance. Standing at 5 feet 3 inches, I gracefully donned a $2,048 Prada ‘Pleated Sablé’ shirt, paired with a sleek black mini-skirt. To complete the look, I accessorized with a stylish $1,115 Jacquemus ‘The Calino’ ring handbag and patent leather long-tongue loafers.

Holding a takeout coffee from Café Chrystie, Natalie accessorized her ensemble with feline-shaped sunglasses and expensive earrings by Jacquemus named ‘The Rond Carré’, completing her outfit for the day.

As a devoted admirer, I am excited to share that the younger, on-screen male lead in Portman’s upcoming project, portrayed as a trendy Brooklynite, will be brought to life by Gen-Z sensation Role Model (born Tucker Pillsbury). Interestingly enough, he is 16 years my junior at just 28 years old.

In the production, the older male lead character, Alan, a successful New Yorker from Manhattan, will be portrayed by Mark Ruffalo, who is 13 years older than the Israeli-American actress who grew up on Long Island.

On this occasion, the four-time Academy Award nominee was spotted strolling and chatting with Dunham en route to the filming location.

‘We are about a quarter through our shoot,’ the eight-time Emmy nominee told THR last week.

As anticipated, there won’t be any spoilers – Natalie Portman truly excels as an actress. She skillfully explores the romantic comedy genre to convey insights on our notions of relationships, love, and sexuality. In my opinion, some of the best romantic comedies, like ‘When Harry Met Sally’, ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’, or ‘Love & Basketball’, push the boundaries of our understanding of love in today’s world. These films challenge our perspectives on what love represents in the modern era.

The objective was to achieve that, and it’s simply delightful being with Natalie, Rashida Jones, Mark Ruffalo, Meg Ryan, and Tucker Pillsbury, also known as Role Model. Each one of them is an intriguing performer who adds unique nuances to their roles, and I’m truly enjoying this immersive experience in the realm of this genre.

I had the incredible opportunity to meet and convince the legendary romantic comedy actress, Meg Ryan, to take on an intriguing part in our upcoming film, “Good Sex.” The chance encounter took place at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London last August.

Dunham shared with Variety recently that he had made up his mind, feeling it was the right time to take action. He confessed his feelings for her, stating that she is simply too charming not to try.

A big shout-out to Taylor! She’s the glue that holds us all together, keeping our world spinning smoothly.”

“Taylor, my salute! She’s the thread that weaves our tapestry; she keeps our world’s great wheel turning.

In terms of the music, she brought her British-Peruvian spouse of four years, Luis Felber, on board to create the soundtrack, similar to how he had for her past works such as Too Much and Sharp Stick.

Back in January, Netflix won the bidding war in order to procure Good Sex for an eye-popping $55M.

Lena shared with Variety that she desires a setting where folks can comfortably relax on a sofa, surrounded by their mothers and closest friends, engaging in meaningful conversations.

I enjoy seeing other directors battle for the cinema release aspect, however, I don’t believe its success or failure hinges on that.

HarperCollins will publish Dunham’s second memoir Famesick on September 1.

On August 21 and 24, Darren Aronofsky’s 2010 psychological thriller “Black Swan,” which won Natalie Portman an Academy Award, will be back in over 200 IMAX theaters to celebrate its 15th anniversary.

In the year 2009, during the filming of “Black Swan,” Natalie Portman developed feelings for her then-future husband, choreographer and dancer Benjamin Millepied, even though he was romantically involved with Isabella Boylston at the time.

In the past year, the actress from Fountain of Youth ended her 11-year marriage to a 48-year-old man from France due to infidelity accusations. They share a 14-year-old son named Aleph and an 8-year-old daughter named Amalia, and they continue to be their parents.
