Leigh-Anne Pinnock turned heads with her bold look at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2025 in London on Tuesday evening.
Okay, let me tell you, Perrie Edwards absolutely stunned! I saw her photos and she looked incredible in a white dress – it was really flattering and showed off how amazing she looks. The neckline was pretty daring, but she totally rocked it!
She wore a flowy, ruffled outfit that highlighted her toned legs, and she added a lift with chic white block heels.
She completed her outfit with a silver necklace and eye-catching earrings, then posed for the camera.
The likes of Maya Jama, Wicked star Cynthia Erivo and Gwendoline Christie were also in attendance.
The annual GQ Men of the Year Awards returns in 2025 for its 28th year, honoring the people who’ve significantly shaped sports, art, and entertainment over the past year.
This year’s event, with sponsorship from Ebay, Patrón, and Defender, will be hosted by Kareem Rahma of Subway Takes on the red carpet, and Benito Skinner and Mary Beth Barone during the dinner.
The dazzling event is being held at the Tate Modern in London this year.
Big stars like Pierce Brosnan, Skepta, and Cynthia Erivo are expected at the event. They all recently appeared on the magazine’s cover and will be recognized for their achievements.
Others expected to attend are Jack O’Connell, Stellan Skarsgård and Tom Hiddleston.
Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno, stars of The Summer I Turned Pretty, will also be there.
Rounding out the VIP lineup are three incredibly popular musical artists: Laufey, Nemzzz (who will be performing live), and Wet Leg.
Both a London and Los Angeles ceremony are held annually, celebrating different groups of honorees.
The celebration for the 30th anniversary of the Men of the Year issue was held on November 13th at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Stephen Colbert, Sydney Sweeney, Seth Rogen, SZA, Oscar Isaac, the duo Clipse, and Hailey Bieber were all recognized with honors.
The event also drew a crowd of stars, including Shay Mitchell, Madison Beer, Winnie Harlow, and Kaley Cuoco.
Cynthia, 38, covered GQ recently amid press for Wicked where she plays Elphaba Thropp.
During the interview, she revealed that despite her ongoing success and the happiness it gives to her supporters – especially her mother, Edith – she carries a deep personal sadness.
The actress hasn’t seen her father since she was sixteen, and they haven’t reconciled. She explained that a disagreement over a subway ticket in London caused a rift, and he hasn’t been there to support her as her career has taken off.
It still gives me chills remembering what he said during our last conversation. He just flatly told me, ‘This will be the last time I ever see you.’ It was so abrupt and final, and honestly, it’s stuck with me ever since.
‘I just didn’t see it coming. I guess you wouldn’t, would you?’
The actress lost touch with her father and doesn’t know anything about his life – not his job, who he was close to, or what he believed in.
She doesn’t have his contact information, but Erivo says she’s reminded of him every time she looks in the mirror or at a photo of herself. They have very similar faces, especially a noticeable gap between their front teeth.
‘It’s a supreme joke,’ she told GQ. ‘It’s a joke from the universe to remind me how human I am.
I grew up listening to him – he was a wonderful singer. I realize now that my own voice sounds a lot like his, which is strange and a little frustrating, but I’ve accepted it. It just is what it is.
‘It’s what the universe does. This is the lemon. Make lemonade.’
Erivo thinks accepting what happened has protected her from getting hurt and stopped her from trying to understand why he left so suddenly.
She explained, ‘It doesn’t help me personally. His reasons are his own, and this doesn’t alter our situation – it won’t lead to a relationship. I’ve actually reached a point of acceptance on my own terms.’
Honestly, everything just…fell into place after that. It’s still surreal to even say it, but here I am, they’re actually talking about me as Man of the Year! I can barely believe it, it feels like a dream come true!
She mentioned that people often tease her for seeming to get over things fast, saying she moves on very quickly.
I simply accept that something has occurred, or is currently occurring, and I don’t pretend it isn’t.
That’s just how life is. Every day brings a new beginning, and today isn’t the end of things. Life goes on.
‘So if I drag this thing into the next day, month, how do I function? How do I then move forwards?
‘I think that is death. To be stuck.’
