Bec Judd and her co-host and close friend Jess Roberts created a somewhat awkward, but intended-to-be humorous, video to announce that their Vain-ish podcast has been renewed for another two years.
The video shows the two playfully mocking themselves as fashion icons, lip-syncing (and singing off-key) to Shania Twain’s song, “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” but with very explicit lyrics substituted.
The two are shown with hair curlers on, playfully acting as if they’re tackling tedious housework.
People often mention Bec’s very daring gown from the AFL Brownlow Medal ceremony, which brought her widespread recognition in 2004.
It really upset me to hear the girls singing that awful line – ‘I never knew a girl who wore a red dress to a butt crack’ – and then making fun of Bec, joking about her ‘boobies falling out of place‘. It felt so mean and unnecessary. I couldn’t believe they’d say something like that, especially about someone else’s appearance. It was a really hurtful thing to witness, and I just wish they’d think before they spoke. It felt like a blatant attempt to humiliate her, and I was deeply saddened by it. I felt so bad for Bec, and I still do. It was a really low blow.
The song lyrics state, ‘You believe you’re unique, oh woah, you consider yourself exceptional, alright, so you’re Bec Judd, but that doesn’t really impress us,’

Later in the show, the two are seen wearing revealing sleepwear and jokingly talk about Jess recently admitting she tried ‘yoni steaming’ – a vaginal ‘cleansing’ practice.
The video concludes with the women performing the song’s chorus, featuring the line, ‘Vain-ish is something special‘.
Bec mentioned the duo’s singing ability in her post, sharing that the friends have agreed to a two-year contract with the Listnr platform for their Vain-ish podcast. She announced that the deal would see them continue creating content on the platform.
‘Don’t worry, we won’t be giving up our day jobs anytime soon to become singers,’ she joked.
Bec and Jess want to express a massive thank you to all of our listeners! Because of your support, our 6-episode mini-series has been extended into a continuing show, and we’re now the number one beauty podcast in the country.
‘We couldn’t have done it without you!
It’s been particularly rewarding to have genuine and candid conversations about getting older, self-image, and well-being with an audience who’s been wanting this kind of content – delivered without judgment or exclusivity.

This follows the rapid success of the Vain-ish podcast, which reached the number one spot in the charts in under 24 hours after it began on July.
Bec shared a celebratory post, writing, ‘Your Vain-ish gals are number one on Apple!!! After just 24 hours, we’ve been incredibly amazed by all your support,’
‘Thanks to @listnrentertainment for believing in us. Love Bec and Jess and @vainishpodcast.’
This is a significant achievement for Bec and Jess, who have previously gained attention for their very open and direct conversations about beauty expectations, cosmetic treatments, and ways to improve wellbeing.
The mother of four has openly discussed experimenting with luxurious treatments, including the ‘salmon sperm facial’ – an injection-based treatment designed to hydrate and revitalize skin that’s becoming thinner.
I was so excited to read in Stellar magazine that Jaggad’s founder is committed to being totally open about everything she does to keep her skin looking so amazing. It’s really refreshing to hear someone be so honest about the work that goes into maintaining a youthful glow, and I, for one, really appreciate her transparency!
“I’m 42, and I honestly don’t have a single wrinkle,” she said. “And just so you know, it’s not because I get a full eight hours of sleep every night, okay?”
Bec stated that she hopes 2025 will be the year women are no longer criticized for openly talking about any cosmetic procedures they’ve chosen to have.
She explained on the podcast that there’s a point in life where you just want to be more truthful. ‘ she stated.
