Brad Pitt avoids an awkward run in with Angelina Jolie amid their ugly divorce as he hits Venice Film Festival with fellow Hollywood hunk George Clooney ahead of their premiere
As a seasoned journalist who has witnessed countless red carpet events, I must say that Angelina Jolie’s recent appearance at the Venice Film Festival was nothing short of breathtaking. Her transformation into Maria Callas on the big screen is truly commendable, and it was evident in her demeanor as she graced the red carpet.
Brad Pitt recently steered clear of an uncomfortable encounter with his former spouse, Angelina Jolie, upon his arrival in Venice, not long after she had graced a movie premiere there.
At the International Film Festival, the 60-year-old actor, who exuded every bit of a classic Hollywood charm, made an entrance with his fellow star and buddy, George Clooney (age 63).
Notable stars stepped off a water taxi, exuding elegance, in anticipation of their movie “Wolfs” premiering at the upcoming festival, scheduled for Sunday evening.
angelas movie titled “Maria” had its premiere on Thursday night, following Angela hinting at the substantial emotional strain that her divorce with Brad has caused her.
The ex-powerful pair find themselves locked in a dispute concerning their shared vineyard in France, Château Miraval, as well as the guardianship of their six offspring.
Brad’s arrival follows the disclosure that artistic director Alberto Barbera intentionally planned his and Angelina’s schedules so there would be no possibility of their encountering each other.
According to what he shared with Vanity Fair, Angelina is scheduled to appear on the first day, specifically on Thursday, August 29th. After that, she’ll be heading straight to the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.
‘So Brad will arrive only on Saturday. There is no way that they can cross each other at the Lido.’
According to Page Six, it’s said that neither Brad nor Angelina initiated the request, but rather they seemed to have become intelligent enough to understand something, as reported.
Originally, Brad came with his girlfriend Ines de Ramon on Saturday, but on Sunday, he was joined by George before their screening event.
Brad sported a casual yet stylish look, donning a light powder-blue coat that coordinated perfectly with his pants. He completed the ensemble with a simple white t-shirt and sunglasses reminiscent of aviators.
In the meantime, George wore a sharp ensemble consisting of a white shirt and a gray suit, completing his appearance with fashionable sunglasses.
Brad and George enthusiastically greeted their fans with waves and smiles upon their arrival by boat, subsequently striking poses for photos on the deck.
Currently, Brad is going through an extended separation process with Angelina. After their movie’s premier last week in Venice, she has since departed the city.
At the yearly event, Angelina Jolie graced the red carpet prior to the initial screening of the movie, which was competing for recognition.
At the second day of this year’s festival, Angelina, portraying renowned opera singer Maria Callas in the movie, dazzled in a beautiful long evening dress adorned with off-the-shoulder style while posing for photographers.
The breathtaking silk gown, custom-made for the actress by designer Tamara Ralph and her couture brand, showcased flowing folds and boasted a brief trail. The ensemble was completed with a chic, plush faux-fur shawl and a golden flower brooch.
The beauty split from her film star husband Brad after a disputed incident on a plane in 2016.
In legal paperwork, she claims he physically harmed her and several of their six kids, and during fits of anger, he threw wine and beer at the entire family. However, he has consistently asserted that he never exhibited violence toward her or the family.
At a photo event to publicize the movie titled “Maria,” Angelina made her remarks, as she portrays the renowned opera singer Maria Callas in that film festival production.
When queried about her musical preferences, she responded: “I’ve always leaned towards punk, and I appreciate all genres, but The Clash was likely my most frequently played band.”
Over time, as I’ve grown older, my musical tastes have evolved. Now, I find myself drawn to classical music and opera. Yet, despite this shift in preference, my affection for the music I enjoyed during my youth remains unchanged. If given a chance, I would still groove to The Clash.
However, when one experiences profound despair, intense pain, or deep love, I believe there are specific melodies that resonate with those feelings. To my ears, the depth of emotion conveyed through opera’s sounds is unparalleled; there simply isn’t anything quite like it.
The sensation that would stir us deeply upon hearing it, seems to be the solitary noise encapsulating that ache. Therefore, I find myself drawn more towards it now.
She pondered over the debut of the film on Thursday and the launch of “Without Blood,” a project she co-produced, coming up next week at the Toronto International Film Festival. This signifies that she is resuming her movie career, an aspect that has been mostly inactive since her separation from Pitt.
Jolie said: ‘To be honest I have needed to be home more with my family these last years.’
During this period, I’ve found myself increasingly appreciative for the chance to be an artist, to perform, and to share this experience with each one of you. It’s also a privilege to be immersed in our shared creative realm, which we are all fortunate to be a part of.
‘I am happy to be here and I am grateful to be an artist in any way.’
