As a huge Boyzone fan, I’m so excited to hear they’re apparently making another warts-and-all documentary for Sky! Their last one was incredible – it really showed everything, the good and the bad, and I honestly think it was a big part of what brought them back together after being distant for so many years. It was a real fly-on-the-wall series, and I can’t wait to see what they share this time. Hopefully it will be available soon!
The popular boyband – featuring Ronan Keating, 48, Mikey Graham, 53, Shane Lynch, 49, and Keith Duffy, 51 – has announced a final concert at London’s Emirates Stadium. This will be their largest show ever.
Recently, it’s been reported that the group is allowing cameras access backstage to film all the excitement, stress, and feelings as they get ready for their last performance.
A source told The Sun: ‘The reaction to their last documentary, No Matter What, was insane.
It didn’t just mend the relationship between the band members; it also inspired them to do one final concert and finish their career on a positive note. They were very pleased with the team at Curious Films, who dealt with everything with care and understanding. So, when they committed to the concert, it was natural to ask Curious Films to film it again.
‘Cameras have already been following them as they put their plans in motion.’

According to a source familiar with the situation, Sky is likely to acquire the rights to the movie, but the details of the agreement are still under discussion.
Daily Mail has contacted the band’s representatives for comment.
The special, single-performance concert, planned for next year, will likely include a touching and emotional remembrance of the band’s late member, Stephen Gately.
Boyzone first shot to fame in 1993, formed by Ronan, Keith, Mikey, Shane and Stephen.
Tragically, Stephen died suddenly in October 2009 at his home in Port d’Andratx, Mallorca.
He later died from fluid in the lungs – a pulmonary oedema – which was caused by a heart problem that hadn’t been discovered.
Earlier this month, Ronan mentioned that the reaction to the Sky documentary Boyzone: No Matter What – which came out in February – had sparked new conversations about what’s next for the band.
The band announced on Tuesday that they will be getting back together for a single concert, One For The Road: Live At Emirates Stadium, in London on Saturday, June 6.

Boyzone shared: ‘We’ve been really amazed and touched by how people reacted to the documentary this year.‘
They shared: ‘The incredible support we’ve received from fans worldwide has motivated us to build the best possible show – a headlining performance at our very own stadium!’
‘The four of us can’t wait to stand together again and enjoy One For The Road.’
The ticket pre-sale is Tuesday, October 7, at 9am, with general sale on Friday, October 10, at 9am.
This massive stadium show, with a capacity of 44,000, will mark Boyzone’s first performance as a group since they played five nights at the London Palladium in 2019.
Boyzone initially broke up after seven years as a group in 2000 so the members could focus on their individual careers, but they later came back together in 2007.
They toured the world with their Thank You And Goodnight farewell shows between 2018 and 2019.
During their Sky docuseries, Ronan became overwhelmed with emotion and started crying while talking about the passing of his close friend and bandmate, Stephen.

In a particularly sad moment, the group remembered spending the night beside Stephen’s coffin in the church, the night before he was buried.
Mikey clarified: ‘We were concerned about him spending the night in the church by himself‘, and Ronan followed up: ‘He also really dislikes being cold.‘
Reflecting on the night, Mikey explained: ‘After everyone else had gone and it was just the five of us remaining, there was a strong feeling of calm and togetherness. It was a really peaceful moment.‘
It’s hard to call it sadness, because surprisingly, we actually had a pretty funny night. It reminded me of the playful joking we used to share back when things were simpler and more innocent… but the good times ended quickly when morning arrived.
I remember when we first found out about Stephen’s passing. It was Ronan who got the initial news – the band’s solicitor told him directly. He immediately sprang into action, calling each of us and Louis to let us know. It was a truly awful moment, and I’ll always remember how quickly Ronan shared the news, even though it was heartbreaking.
‘It just wouldn’t go in,’ Keith said. ‘Not our Stephen.’
Mikey added: ‘My world just fell apart.’
Oh my gosh, the year after everything, they went on the Brother tour, and it was *all* about Stephen! Mikey said, and I quote, ‘It felt good to be in each other’s company.‘ Can you believe it? It just shows how much they needed each other, and honestly, it makes me tear up every time I think about it. I was so happy they could support each other that way!
