On Saturday, Lilly Becker radiated joy upon her arrival at Zurich airport for a flight bound for Australia. She was headed there to take part in the German adaptation of “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

In my latest journey, I confided in Richard Eden from The Mail that I had enrolled myself in the German iteration of “I’m a Celebrity.” This decision, I must admit, came with a fair share of apprehension. You see, this experience would put me squarely in the path of several of my deepest fears – a prospect that, truth be told, gave me pause.

She mentioned that she finds it challenging to confront her phobias, including ones related to snakes, spiders, crickets, swimming, and situations that might trigger a panic attack.

Lilly is set to appear on the program soon, following the marriage of her former spouse Boris, who turned 57, to his third wife in September of the previous year.

Lily was married to a previous Wimbledon champion for nine years, during which they had a 14-year-old son named Amadeus. They announced their separation in May 2018.

A year prior, Boris found himself declared bankrupt, with a significant debt of around £50 million to his creditors. This was primarily due to an outstanding loan exceeding £3 million on his property situated on the beautiful Spanish island of Mallorca.

In April 2022, the six-time Grand Slam champion was imprisoned due to concealing £2.5 million worth of assets and loans to evade repaying his outstanding financial obligations.

He was determined to be responsible for moving large sums of money from his business account to various parties without disclosing it, as well as possessing an undeclared property in his German hometown. Additionally, he faced charges for concealing a £710,000 bank loan and 75,000 shares in a tech company.

Initially, Boris was anticipated to serve half of his term in prison, but due to a speedy program, he could be deported if specific requirements are fulfilled, as this program is designed for non-citizens.

He spent eight months in prison as part of a two-and-a-half-year term, and was transported to Germany ahead of the 2022 Christmas holiday.

In the past, he was wedded to his first wife, Barbara Feltus, from 1993 to 2001. During this period, it was revealed that Boris had been unfaithful while Barbara was carrying their second child.

At his wedding to Liliam, Noah, 30, and Elias, 25 (his sons with Barbara) were present, but Amadeus and his daughter Anna Ermakova, aged 24, were noticeably not there.

Anna, model by profession, came into being following an unexpected encounter between Boris and Angela, a Russian waitress, at London’s Nobu during a single night out. This liaison took place while Boris’s first wife, Barbara, was giving birth to their son, Elias.

Later on, Lilly shared that Boris intentionally left out Amadeus from his wedding. She explained this to a German magazine called Bunte, stating, “When I inquired about it with Amadeus, he was taken aback. It seemed he had no knowledge of the matter.

Indeed, he’s pondering over the reason for not receiving an invitation and also questioning why his father failed to share any details about the event with him.

Although she maintained that she hoped her former partner well, she also pointed out that his behavior toward their son was unacceptable and had reached its limit. She expressed a desire for their child to be present in their lives, saying, “Who wouldn’t want him here?

In November, she talked further on her son’s absence at the event, expressing to Richard Eden of The Mail: “The choice wasn’t mine – it was Amadeus who made that decision himself, and that’s a matter between them. He’s not a 5-year-old anymore; he’s almost 15.

I didn’t push him, they get along well, but it was a tough period for them [her and Boris]. I believe things will work out, but all good things take time.

In addition to her conversation, Lilly mentioned that Boris had a young bride named Lilian, who works as a political risk consultant and is 24 years younger than him.

She noted: ‘I genuinely want him to succeed, and I’m hoping things go smoothly for him. It’s unfortunate that she’s quite young, as I can relate to her situation.’

After their separation, Lilly and Boris found themselves embroiled in a contentious divorce, the fallout from which led Lilly requiring counseling for emotional support.
