Boris Becker, 57 and his pregnant wife Lilian, 35, are seen for the first time since announcing they are expecting a baby as tennis pro prepares to welcome his fifth child

For the initial time since revealing they’re welcoming their first child, Boris Becker and his spouse Lilian were captured in photographs.

On a joyful note, I proudly announced our wonderful news on Sunday. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Boris expressed his optimism for the future, saying “the best is still to come.” The image shared captured my tender embrace of our blossoming family – a gentle cradle for our baby bump.

For the first time since announcing they were expecting a child, tennis player Boris (age 57) and his partner Lilian (age 35) seemed cheerful as they ventured out in Milan on a Thursday.

Boris, who’s the father of four kids from three different women, looked sharp in a violet shirt and denim pants, complementing his outfit with white sneakers.

He had a navy jacket with him, while he dragged his items along in a black suitcase and a white bag.

In the meantime, Lilian exuded elegance, wearing a stylish pinstripe ensemble consisting of flared trousers and a tailored jacket, paired with a black vest.

She increased her height with a pair of strappy high-heels and carried her necessities in a chic black shoulder bag, adorned with quilting.

In September 2024, Lilian, who became Mrs. Boris, cleverly hid her pregnancy beneath a fashionable outfit and accessorized with trendy squared sunglasses to protect her eyes.

On Sunday, Boris announced on Instagram that Lilian is pregnant with their fifth child. He posted a video showing her gently touching her baby bump.

‘A tiny miracle is on the way…The best is yet to come,’ the Wimbledon icon captioned his post.

The pregnancy news arrives just under a year following their extravagant wedding in Portofino, Italy, which Boris’s youngest kids, 23-year-old daughter Anna and 15-year-old son Amadeus, were unable to attend.

Boris, presently residing in Milan alongside Lilian, previously got married on two separate occasions and shares a family of four altogether.

In 1994, he happily ushered into the world his firstborn son, Noah Gabriel, who is now 30 years old, along with his wife Barbara Feltus. Their subsequent child, Elias Balthasar, arrived in 1999.

After an unexpected romantic liaison with Russian model Angela Ermakova at London’s restaurant Nobu in the same year, their relationship ended between Boris and his former partner.

Previously, Boris stated that he’d managed to forget about his meeting with Angela. However, she reached out to him later, informing him that she was expecting – eight months along in her pregnancy.

In the 2023 Apple documentary titled “Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker, he shared an account of the night when, following his fourth-round defeat at Wimbledon, instead of staying with his mother and expectant wife in the hotel room, he opted to celebrate the end of his playing career on his own.

He reminisced that as soon as the game ended, he popped open the first beer. Afterward, he had another one. He desired to join his coach, physical therapist, and racket stringer for a celebration, so he decided to step out with them.

To my wife, I expressed, “Tomorrow I’ll assume the roles of both a husband and a father. However, tonight, I yearn for one more moment as a tennis player.

Initially, my wife was upset. Later, I engaged in a lengthy conversation with my mom on the balcony, and before we parted ways, she advised me, “Boris, try not to make any foolish decisions.

Later that evening, though, he went to Nobu where he met Angela in 1999. 

Eight months after their encounter, he received a fax from Angela saying she was pregnant. 

Initially, Boris refused to acknowledge paternity, but DNA tests confirmed that the girl with his distinctive red hair, Anna, was indeed his offspring. Consequently, he reached a monetary agreement with her mother and simultaneously funded an extravagant separation from his wife, Barbara.

During an interview about the movie, Boris stated that he ended his relationship with Barbara due to her frequent reminders of his affair with Angela. It seemed like he implied their marriage disintegrated because she employed his infidelity as a sort of trump card in disputes.

For quite some time, the secret about the baby remained unknown, according to him. However, during their conversations, she unexpectedly revealed her knowledge by saying, “You’d better keep quiet because, if people found out what you did, you would be in big trouble.

Boris and Barbara’s divorce was finalised in 2001 after agreeing a £10million settlement. 

In 2018, his second marriage to ex-Dutch model Lily Kerssenberg came to an unpleasant end following a separation that lasted nine years.

In 2023, Lily claimed that Boris evicted her and their son, Amadeus, from the house as she spoke to the German media outlet Bild. She further mentioned that she had left Boris in 2018, and he has been unable to forgive her for doing so.

‘When I left five years ago, he took away my house and car keys,’ the actress continued. 

He kicked us (me and our son) out of our home. I had no money on hand, and was unsure of where to turn. Our first night was spent on a park bench in a café.

In those days, I passionately asserted that Boris was allegedly not contributing a single penny towards child support and seldom spent time with his son, yet I wholeheartedly believe that he harbors deep affection for him.

Since then, Boris remarried his current wife, Lilian, in a grand, three-day ceremony at Portofino last September, attended by 150 guests. However, his children, Anna and Amadeus, chose not to attend the wedding.

At the wedding celebrations in Portofino, Boris had chosen Noah, aged 30, and Elias, aged 25, to be his groomsmen. However, Anna and Amadeus were not present at the wedding party.

It remains unclear as to why the duo, who appear to have reconciled with their father, were not included in the invitation, given that Boris openly expressed his pride for both of them.

At that moment, Amadeus’ mom, Lily, voiced her displeasure, explaining to the German publication Bunte: “His father never shared the news of the wedding with him…he can’t help but question why he wasn’t included in the event.

‘When I approached Amadeus about it, he was completely taken by surprise. He knew nothing.’

Although Boris had taken Amadeus on a trip to Milan for his 14th birthday that year, this did not prevent the event from taking place as planned.

Lilly shared that Amadeus was sent a WhatsApp invite for the wedding, however, he chose not to show up.

In the meantime, Anna, who spent her childhood in both London and Monaco, disclosed that she learned about her tennis icon dad’s upcoming wedding through news articles.

The winner of Germany’s Let’s Dance, a show similar to the UK’s Strictly Come Dancing, consistently expresses only favorable sentiments about her father in public appearances.

Before the finale of “Let’s Dance,” Boris pre-recorded a message for his daughter, expressing: “You’ve already won over the hearts of the German audience.

You’ve left quite an impression! Your skill, dedication, showmanship, and so much more – your character, are truly awe-inspiring. I couldn’t be more delighted!

Following his 2024 marriage, Boris attributed his survival after serving a prison term for insolvency offenses to Lilian, a professional in managing political risks.

Previously ranked as the best player globally, he served approximately two and a half years out of a 30-month term for tax fraud in Wandsworth Prison. His release took place in the year 2022.

Discussing Lilian, who stood by Boris during the trial, Boris shared with Stern Magazine that their relationship might be one of the first genuine partnerships where both parties are equals, as he contemplated his complex history and turbulent private life.

‘No one is more important than the other,’ he said. ‘I need Lilian, and I hope she needs me too.’
