Bookies reveal Dani Dyer as Strictly Come Dancing favourite with more contestants yet to be announced

On Thursday, bookmakers disclosed who’s currently favored to win “Strictly Come Dancing” among the ten celebrities that were unveiled this week.

Dani Dyer, aged 29, currently stands as the frontrunner to win the Glitter Ball trophy, according to oddsmakers who have set her chances at 4-to-1. In second place is YouTube personality George Clarke, with odds of 6-to-1.

To date, a total of ten celebrities have announced that they will take part in the BBC show, with Thomas Skinner from The Apprentice being the latest addition to the cast.

He admires and takes inspiration from influential figures like Ellie Goldstein (a trailblazer), Drag Race star La Voix, and rugby player Chris Robshaw.

However, it appears that Dani is already generating buzz among people, even before the complete list of participants has been disclosed.

Simultaneously, Ellie Goldstein and former sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey from Ladbrokes are both offered odds of 8/1 to emerge victorious in the ongoing series.

The retired England rugby captain, Chris Robshaw, has odds of 20 to 1, and the ex-Premier League footballer, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, has odds of 25 to 1.

Chris Robshaw, former England rugby captain, is listed at 20/1, while Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Premier League soccer player, comes in at 25/1.

Another option: For betting purposes, Chris Robshaw, ex-captain of the England rugby team, is at 20 to 1, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a previous Premier League football star, has odds of 25 to 1.

According to Cal Gildart from Ladbrokes, Dani Dyer is currently the favorite to win ‘Strictly’ this year. However, since there are still contestants to be revealed, there’s a chance someone might overtake her in the odds.

On Monday night’s episode of The One Show, it was revealed that Dani was one of the second stars selected for the Strictly Come Dancing 2025 roster.

She expressed that having a chance to participate in Strictly ranks as the second most fantastic experience she’s had this year!

‘I feel very very blessed and cannot wait to get my dancing shoes on.’

In a different phrasing, the first celebrity revealed was Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, known for his roles in Olympian and Gladiators, along with him were announced Alex Kingston, famed for her work on Doctor Who, and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, who is recognized as a sportsman.

On Tuesday, it was announced on Good Morning Britain that Balvinder Sopal, who portrays Suki Panesar in EastEnders, will be part of the cast as well.

Elsewhere, Dani has sparked a ‘fix row’ as her past dance experience has been revealed.

In a previously undiscovered portion of her memoir, she proudly declared herself as a ‘professionally trained dancer’, causing some admirers to ponder whether this could potentially give her an edge.

Previously, both skilled dancer Tasha Ghouri and former JLS member JB Gill encountered criticism regarding their dance training.

In her 2019 book, Danny Dyer’s daughter noted that she would include “trained dancer” among her professional credentials on her resume.

In her book, Dani detailed her experience of attending theatre school every weekend from the tender age of 2 until she was 14 years old.

She said: ‘It was called O’Farrell’s Stage School and I was a really good little dancer.

While I may not consider myself an exceptional singer, my true passion lies in dancing – from jazz and tap to ballet and modern styles. After a day, you might find me gracefully dancing around at home.

Daily Mail has contacted Dani’s representatives and BBC for comment.

It was recently announced that Natalie Imbruglia and Delta Goodrem are in discussions about appearing on the show.

The latest news indicates that discussions are taking place with two well-known Australian actors about their potential appearances. Additionally, it’s rumored that another former Neighbours star, Stefan Dennis, might also join them.

According to a source, discussions regarding the potential appearance of two celebrities have reached a critical stage. If they were to agree, it would be considered a significant achievement for the program.

Delta and Natalie are expected to add a touch of sophistication to the event, and they are among the most highly anticipated contenders for this year.

If all three ex-Neighbors actors take the stage, the Strictly dance floor might resemble Ramsay Street.
