Bond Girl Susie Vanner, 72, reveals how she ‘beat the odds’ after rejecting chemotherapy following her breast cancer diagnosis
As an ardent fan, I find myself utterly captivated by Susie Vanner’s extraordinary journey – a testament to resilience, determination, and the indomitable human spirit. Her tale of beating breast cancer without conventional treatments is nothing short of inspiring.
Susan Vanner shared her story of overcoming the statistics when she opted against chemotherapy following a breast cancer diagnosis.
72-year-old actress, previously known for her role as Bond Girl, opted against conventional treatments when confronting a grade 3, stage 2 illness back in 2007. She chose this path instead of the typical treatment options.
Susan shared her experience about overcoming advanced breast cancer that affected her lymph nodes, using alternative treatments, following a surgical procedure to remove the tumor.
In conversation with The Express, she disclosed that they suggested a treatment plan consisting of chemotherapy, medication, radiation, and Herceptin for her.
However, after picking up these various books, I began to worry that chemotherapy might turn out to be catastrophic as it eliminates everything within one’s body.
In my pursuit of wellness and holistic living, I recently shared an intriguing tale. A talented actress I know discovered a gentleman in Dusseldorf who assisted her in a remarkable quest. He helped her arrange for tests on a tumor using organic compounds, aiming to identify the most effective natural ingredients that could potentially eradicate it.
She explained that he had overhauled his entire diet. Now, he avoids sugar, alcohol, and meat altogether, instead consuming a large amount of vegetables. Occasionally, he opts for steamed wild fish, and he also receives vitamin C intravenously.
In an interview with Best Magazine, Susie expressed gratitude by saying, “I’m simply grateful to be alive and able to share my story.
Although my elder brother succumbed to cancer, a disease that, fortunately for me, I didn’t have to face. Unlike me, he underwent extensive chemotherapy treatments, an ordeal I believe significantly weakened his immune system.
1) “I didn’t use any drugs whatsoever. You just can’t predict these things. I had a serious case with grade 3, stage 2 in my lymph nodes. I relied heavily on vitamin C and closely monitored as the cancer cells decreased.
Approximately 100 distinct forms of chemotherapy medications exist, yet they all function similarly by traveling via the bloodstream.
The drugs are harmful to cells, especially fast-dividing ones.
Because cancer cells multiply at a faster rate than regular cells, they become more susceptible to chemotherapy, which is one reason why it’s employed in treating this disease.
On the other hand, various swiftly regenerating cell types, like those found in hair, bone marrow, skin, and the inner layers of the digestive tract, can also get harmed during this procedure.
Approximately one out of every seven women in the United Kingdom will receive a breast cancer diagnosis during their lifetime, which equates to roughly 56,000 diagnoses per year. This makes breast cancer the most prevalent type of cancer in the country.
The figure stands at roughly 300,000 annually in the US.
Approximately 85 to 90 out of every 100 women who receive a diagnosis for primary breast cancer live past five years.
