Bobby Sherman’s wife says teen idol’s body is ‘shutting down’ due to terminal illness
According to his wife, Brigitte Poublon, Bobby Sherman’s health is deteriorating significantly as he nears the end of his struggle against advanced kidney cancer.
In the past few days, we were solving crossword puzzles together. All of a sudden on Saturday, he switched to sleeping more and his health started deteriorating rapidly. As Poublon explained to Fox News Digital over the phone, “It’s not that everything is just shutting down.” Instead, it appears that his body systems are failing one by one.

80-year-old actor David Soul, famous for his portrayal of the suave detective Ken Hutchison on the hit 1970s TV show ‘Starsky & Hutch,’ has passed away.
Poublon revealed to Fox News that Sherman, who was a teen idol in the 1960s, has advanced kidney cancer that has spread throughout his body. He had initially shared on Facebook on March 25 that the 81-year-old was extremely unwell.
In the post she shared, she mentioned that Bobby, who has been retired for quite a while now, can no longer take part in brief roles, sign memorabilia, or attend events – which his dedicated followers affectionately refer to as ‘fans’.
With deep regret, I must inform you that Bobby has been diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer. As we navigate through this difficult period, we humbly request your patience and sensitivity towards our personal space. Your thoughtfulness in keeping Bobby in your thoughts means a great deal to us. Thank you so much.
I’m sad to report that Bobby has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We are going through a tough time right now, and we kindly ask for understanding and respect for our privacy during this period. According to Poublon, Sherman was back home receiving “specific attention.” He shared that Sherman’s final words from the hospital last night were, “Brig, I simply yearn to be at home.

The victory of Dave Coulier over Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma serves as a significant milestone that prompts Candace Cameron Bure to rejoice heartily. In her words, it’s ‘truly AMAZING news.’
In the late ’60s, Sherman became well-known for his upbeat tunes that resembled bubblegum pop music. He gained popularity after portraying beloved character Jeremy Bolt on the television show “Here Come the Brides,” which was broadcast from 1968 to 1970.
1962 saw him begin recording, and it was in 1969 that he achieved his first gold record with the single “Little Woman.” He went on to score numerous hits, including “Easy Come, Easy Go,” “Julie, Do Ya Love Me,” and “La La La (If I Had You).
Following a one-time role as a singer on “The Monkees” in 1968, he made his appearance in “The Partridge Family” in 1971, portraying songwriter Bobby Conway. He later reprised this character for the comedy series “Getting Together,” which ran for just one season, spinning off from an episode of that show.
Instead of choosing a career in entertainment, Sherman opted for public service work. He served as a volunteer paramedic, a technical reserve police officer with the LAPD, and a reserve deputy sheriff with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. However, he occasionally made appearances on television during the 1970s until the mid-1980s in shows like “The Love Boat,” “Fantasy Island,” “Murder, She Wrote,” and “Emergency!”. He also popped up in an episode of “Frasier” in 1997.

Michelle Trachtenburg’s exact cause and method of death are yet to be definitively determined, as her family has decided against performing an autopsy on her remains.
According to Poublon, it’s crucial that Bobby understands the mark he made on the world, including his music and TV series, but above all, his compassion for people as a paramedic and a cop. I want him to recognize the multitude of individuals he affected and the lives he touched deeply. (Fox)
On a Tuesday, she posted on Facebook, “I appreciate all the affection and aid you’ve shown us this past week. Unfortunately, Bobby is terminally ill and is currently at ease. We kindly ask for only positive thoughts to be sent our way.
Poublon, who married Sherman in 2010, is his second wife.
