Bobby Brazier looks dapper with his hair slicked back as he strolls around London’s Soho after it was revealed he has become a Hare Krishna amid family feud

On a recent Tuesday, Bobby Brazier moved gracefully through London’s Soho district, exuding an air of sophistication due to his well-groomed, neatly combed hairstyle.

22-year-old actor from EastEnders has recently been seen frequenting Soho more often, following his deep dive into the practices of the Hare Krishna community at their headquarters.

On Tuesday, I could be found roaming around town, proudly donning a pair of sleek navy loafers adorned with a striking gold buckle. Additionally, around my neck, you might have noticed the distinct Hare Krishna beads – a testament to my unwavering devotion!

Bobby had a Tupperware filled with food and a bag, while he strolled along in a gray long-sleeve sweater and tailored pants.

The situation has taken a turn following a fresh development in the Brazier family conflict, as it’s been disclosed that Bobby’s relationship with his father, Jeff, has grown tense.

Only last week, Jeff’s youngest son Freddy told of his own bitter fall-out with his father.

The actor regularly takes part in daily religious practices at the Hare Krishna headquarters in Soho, which include chanting mantras, preparing shared meals, and appreciating the faith’s tranquil perspective.

According to the Mail’s report, Bobby sought solace in a religious organization tied to a particular branch of Hinduism as his relationship with his television host father, Jeff, deteriorated.

Due to such a tough time they were experiencing together, Bobby decided to leave Jeff’s house in Essex and move into an apartment in Soho, a location close to the Hare Krishna temple.

On ITV’s This Morning, Jeff, a well-known authority on parenting matters, consistently showed his support for his son during Strictly every week. Moreover, he shared with Strictly’s audience the depth of their bond. However, in reality, their conversations have been few and far between.

As I delved deeper into nurturing my bond with Jackiey Budden, my dear grandmother and Freddy’s mom, it seemed that the strains in Freddy’s relationship with his father became even more pronounced.

As a die-hard fan, I’m sharing the tale of Freddy, who, alongside his old man, graced our screens on BBC1’s Celebrity Race Across The World. Despite my hero’s father’s disapproval, Freddy resides under the same roof as his grandmother these days. In a surprising confession, this 20-year-old admitted to sharing a joint or two with his grandma, a revelation that has left me both amazed and intrigued!

Despite Freddy’s rebellion being open, boisterous, and unpredictable, Bobby’s is exactly the opposite – yet it might not be any less painful for his father. Confidants have shared with The Mail that Bobby, though not a troublemaker, has been equally content to distance himself from family members as Freddy.

Among Jeff’s relatives is his wife Kate Dwyer, with whom both boys have experienced a mix of highs and lows, as reported by those familiar with the family. While Bobby may not engage in public spats like his younger brother, he too appears to be trying to maintain some distance from Jeff, who Freddy has accused of being overly controlling.

A family confidant stated: “Bobby has been known to have a spiritual inclination, however, this choice is deliberate. It appears he aims to distance himself from the quarrels and uproar. Contrarily, Freddy’s resistance is boisterous – drug issues, public arguments, and lawsuits over his grandmother – whereas Bobby’s is subdued. Yet, it holds an equal amount of defiance.

‘He’s turning his back on the life his Dad created for them in Essex and following his own path.’

It seems that Bobby’s commitment to Hare Krishna is not just temporary or trendy. One of the volunteers mentioned: ‘He attends every Saturday consistently, participates in our kitchen work, and studies the prayers – it’s clear he’s not engaging for a passing fancy.’

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the Brazier brothers experienced a difficult beginning in life. Their mother passed away due to cervical cancer in the year 2009 when Bobby was five and Freddy was only four. The boys’ father, Jeff, had separated from their mother Jade shortly after Freddy’s birth.

After her demise, Jeff, who was previously a host on the X Factor spin-off show, the Xtra Factor, asked for privacy as the boys he was responsible for grew up in Essex. Later on, he spent some time in Brighton.

He made a promise to provide them with a secure living environment, and rightfully received a lot of positive feedback from the public for fulfilling it. Both boys went to private schools. Bobby had difficulties adjusting, but it was during a pep talk at their local Costa coffee shop by Jeff that he was suspended from school, and coincidentally, a casting agent who happened to be there took notice of his striking appearance.

In his less-than-happy days at a private school, Bobby shared that while most students hailed from affluent families with deep generational wealth, he himself did not.

‘I’ve got insight from both ends of the spectrum, so I felt like I was a bit of a black sheep.’

Previously, Freddy shared with the Mail about an increasing rift within the family and Bobby. Gatherings have become scarce, but they managed to reunite for Bobby’s 22nd birthday celebration on June 2, which was also attended by Jeff.

Freddy opted not to participate with them that day, instead only exchanging a text message with his sibling. According to a family insider, there appears to be a significant divide between Bobby and Freddy.

‘It would have devastated Jade if she was to know.’

The source said Bobby was ‘deeply upset’ that Freddy did not join them on his birthday.

Experts believe that true reconciliation among the brothers might occur when Freddy decides to implement changes in his disorderly lifestyle.

One pal observes: “Bobby may not openly express it, but he seems displeased with Freddy. He yearns for a connection, but it should be more balanced and nurturing.

‘If he has to stay in his own lane away from the wider family, he’s completely prepared to.’
