As a lifestyle expert with a deep appreciation for the arts, I cannot help but feel a profound sense of loss upon hearing about the passing of Bobby Banas at the venerable age of 90. His dance moves and acting chops graced some of the most iconic films of the mid-20th century, leaving an indelible mark on popular culture.

Accomplished dancer and actor Bobby Banas has died at age 90.

On Monday, Banas unfortunately succumbed to pneumonia at an assisted living facility in Encino, California. This information was shared by his son, filmmaker Eden Tyler Banas, with The Hollywood Reporter.

In the iconic 1961 movie West Side Story, Banas portrayed the role of Jets member Joyboy, and later took on the character of a chimney sweep in the timeless 1964 film Mary Poppins.

His other memorable appearances include a role dancing with Ann-Margret in Made in Paris.
