Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus Patches Roll Out to Xbox Series X|S Following Delay

After the tumultuous journey that Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus has taken us all through, it’s heartening to see Squid Shock Studios finally emerge victorious from the storm. The challenges they faced seemed insurmountable, yet here we are, with patches now available on console versions of the game!

Path of the Teal Lotus was released in July, but its updates have been delayed due to restructuring at the publisher Humble Games. However, it seems that the developers at Squid Shock Studios have found a way to resolve these issues.

Following Squid Shock’s description of a “challenging and lengthy voyage”, the issue that had caused delays in updates for Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus has been fixed (an issue that predominantly affected the console versions of the game, as porting and quality assurance support were linked to the studio’s arrangement with Humble Games), and patches can now be applied.

In a post on Twitter (via Eurogamer), Squid Shock stated, “The hurdles we encountered over the last month were far greater than what we had expected, causing disturbances in our transferring, quality assurance, and console submission processes.” However, today, we’re both relieved and thrilled to share that we have successfully navigated those difficulties. We are delighted to reveal that the updates for Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus on Xbox [Series] X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch have been activated!

Just as anticipated, these updates will include multiple bug resolutions and enhancements to gameplay for Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus across platforms like Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers.

“Through sheer determination and tenacity, our team has managed to deliver these essential updates to you, even amidst various challenges. Our ultimate goal is for these enhancements to bring you a gaming experience more aligned with what we envisioned for Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus. We value your support deeply and are thrilled to keep moving forward on this adventure with you.”
