Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus Patches Roll Out to Xbox Series X|S Following Delay

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours logged into various titles, I must say that the saga of Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus has been quite the rollercoaster ride. The delays and issues faced by Squid Shock Studios due to ‘restructuring’ at Humble Games were indeed frustrating, but it’s heartening to see them overcome these obstacles.

2.5D Metroidvania-style platformer game Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus was released in July, but since then, there have been challenges with delivering updates because Humble Games is undergoing organizational changes. However, it seems that Squid Shock Studios has come up with a workable solution for these issues.

Following a challenging and prolonged trip as Squid Shock put it, issues with updates for Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus have been addressed. This problem was largely affected by the console versions of the game due to porting and quality assurance support being linked to Humble Games in the studio’s agreement. Now, patches can be applied.

In a recent post on Twitter (as reported by Eurogamer), Squid Shock stated that during the last month, we encountered difficulties far greater than expected, causing interruptions in our porting, testing, and console submission processes. However, today, we’re both relieved and ecstatic to share some good news! We’re delighted to announce that the updates for Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Nintendo Switch are now active!

Just as anticipated, these updates will incorporate multiple bug corrections and game enhancements for Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus across platforms such as Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and personal computers (PC).

“Thanks to our team’s determination and ability to bounce back, we’ve managed to deliver these essential updates to you. Our aim is for these enhancements to bring the Bō: Path of the Teal Lotus experience closer to what we originally envisioned. We want you to understand how valuable your support has been to us, and we’re thrilled to be able to share this adventure with you further.”
