Bo Derek, 69, and John Corbett, 64, look more loved up than ever as they make a rare red carpet appearance at the Santa Barbara Film Festival

I was so thrilled to see Bo Derek and John Corbett together at the Santa Barbara Film Festival! They honestly looked more in love than ever – it was a really sweet and rare sighting, and they just radiated happiness on the red carpet.

The 69-year-old actress looked stylish and relaxed at the Montecito Award ceremony, wearing a black turtleneck and well-fitting black pants.

Oh my gosh, she looked absolutely incredible! She was already rocking this amazing black outfit, and then she just transformed it with this perfect white trench coat. And the boots! Sleek, black, heeled leather boots… seriously, everything about that look was just… chef’s kiss. I couldn’t take my eyes off her.

To accessorise, Bo wore a large, silver elephant necklace and a pair of large gold hoop earrings.

John, 64, looked effortlessly stylish as he walked out wearing a classic black suit and grey shirt.

The actor, who is 6ft5in tall, was noticeably much taller than his partner, who is 5ft3in, as they posed for photos together at the event.

He’s most famous for his role as Aidan Shaw in both Sex and the City and its continuation, And Just Like That.

Bo is an actress, film producer, and model who first became famous for her performance in the 1979 movie, 10.

The role also led to a popular swimsuit poster of Bo, quickly making her a sex symbol. She went on to appear in the 1981 film Tarzan the Ape Man and Bolero in 1984.

John and Bo secretly tied the knot in 2020, having begun dating in 2002.

They waited until the next year to share the news. John accidentally revealed in an interview, ‘We got married around Christmas. Bo and I tied the knot.’

We recently got married, but we’re quite private, so we didn’t publicly announce it. This is likely the first time we’re sharing the news.

Honestly, everyone close to us has known for a while, but we’ve both been pretty private about it until now. It just hasn’t felt like the right time to share publicly – until now, of course! As a lifestyle expert, I always say timing is everything, and we finally felt ready to open up.

After two decades together, my partner and I finally decided to tie the knot. Honestly, 2020 had been such a tough year for everyone, and we really wanted to create something positive from it. We figured, why not give ourselves, and maybe others, one beautiful thing to remember it by?

John’s agent arranged a date for him after he mentioned he didn’t have a plus-one for the Oscars party.

John admitted he was quite nervous before meeting Bo for the first time. However, once they connected, Bo described feeling a natural ease and connection between them.

After her husband, John Derek, passed away from heart failure in 1998, she believed she’d never fall in love again. Then she met John.

I was so touched when she described first meeting her husband. She didn’t talk about some grand, sweeping romance, but something much more real – just an instant comfort and attraction. She said he constantly makes her laugh and is just brimming with life and joy. It felt so genuine and lovely to hear her talk about him that way.

I was initially drawn to him, and those feelings haven’t gone away. We’re taking our relationship slowly, but it feels like we’re making progress and becoming more comfortable with each other.
