Blurred Lines music video director Diane Martel who also worked with JLo, Mariah and Miley dies at 63

Blurred Lines music video director Diane Martel has died at the age of 63 in New York.

The artist had been battling breast cancer.

According to Rolling Stone, she passed away at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital in New York, with her family by her side.

Martel gained prominence as the director of Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ music video, which featured Emily Ratajkowski.

She collaborated with many famous artists, including Jennifer Lopez, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Pink, and Alicia Keys.

Martel was close to Miley Cyrus and directed many of her music videos such as We Can’t Stop. 

Martel also directed Mariah Carey’s iconic music video for her hugely popular 1994 song, ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’.
