It’s been revealed that “A PLUS JAPAN” is planning to debut their MMORPG titled “Blue Protocol: Star Resonance” on Android, iOS, and PC devices this year. Originally, this game was jointly developed by Tencent and Bandai Namco, but the global release was cancelled. However, it’s back now, having been reintroduced under the same name following a second closed beta test held in April 2025.

I’m thrilled to witness the return of the game, all the more so since its cessation in Japan previously halted the global launch as well. Now that it’s been reinstated, I can hardly contain my excitement to jump back in, dig for and gather precious crystals, confront diverse monsters, and delve into every nook and cranny of the stunning landscape.

You can form multiplayer parties, battle Bosses, enjoy relaxing activities, and more

Not only that, but you also have the opportunity to join forces with other players to create multiplayer groups, where you can collaboratively battle challenging Bosses with distinct attack styles, swiftly change combat roles as needed, or simply unwind by partaking in leisure activities with companions such as fishing, dancing at festivals, or sharing laughter in guild chat. These activities include everything from intense boss fights to friendly gatherings.

In this fresh reboot, the Blue Protocol world seems to be presenting a brand new chapter, brimming with an immersive MMORPG adventure that encompasses exploration, vibrant anime aesthetics, extensive character customization, diverse combat roles, engaging activities, guild raids, multi-platform compatibility, and much more exciting features.
